We needed a place to sleep on a long drive north and just stuck a pin in the map and came up with Tebay. I was just expecting the usual motorway motel experience - given the price. What we got was a personalised, welcoming, friendly, comfortable hotel with absolutely wonderful food!

Very good overnight stay en-route to home from Scotland. Convenient to M6 and quiet bearing in mind proximity.

our first time here and the location was excellent just off the motorway .easy check in and had a lovely relaxed dinner at the hotel .very pleased

I have been staying at wes**oreland Hotel about 4 times a year for the last 14 years, and do not recall anything I would change, nor complain Bout. It is a wonderful and most welcoming stopover on my joirnies from the far north to the far south to visit my family.

My friend and I wanted to visit the "Lake District farm shop"as seen on TV.so the Wes**oreland Hotel was the ideal place to spend the night.

Great hotel. Architecture angular with defined offsets. Water feature outside really pleasant even in the rain. Oh dear. Came down for breakfast. HALF a bacon rasher, HALF a mushroom no toast or beans unless you requested it. Basically a childs portion. Go into their service station and you get a FULL English breakfast for less than the price in the hotel. And I mean FULL ENGLISH. ☹️

A beautiful hotel warm welcoming staff and a wonderful location

The beds were so comfortable; the staff were welcoming and kind; the comfort in the hotel was excellent. The shortbread biscuits were delicious.

Booked for a night stop on our journey north. The hotel is in a beautifully quiet, scenic location. Hard to believe it is just off the M6. Rooms are a good size, beds are probably the best ever, so comfortable! The homemade biscuits and bottled water are a welcome touch. Restaurant serves a good selection of delicious homemade meals. Staff are all very welcoming. Really can’t fault this place.
