Nomads Hotel Petra

I have to go up a slope to get there. New environment and new equipment, the night view is very beautiful at night!

First of all, the exterior of this hotel has such a vibe and aesthetically pleasing. I like the concept of how everything you need in a city is clumped up into one location. The dinner (which is a buffet style) is sooo good. I didn't have breakfast and they also have a lunch box where you can take snacks when visiting inside Petra. They also have an amazing view of the rooftop and offer drinks as well. I didn't even attempt to explore the city to find restaurants or cafes. The room that I have was a typical bed sharing hostel but the attached bathroom is a new experience for me as I don't need to share with more people other than my 3 other roommates. The staff are AMAZING! Every single one of them. They helped me to book a bus going to the next city, to save time and money by giving tips and tricks on how to visit Petra efficiently. What I didn't like was the hike going up and down from the hotel to Petra is quite tiring but if you have a car it will be helpful. But for me, it didn't bother me. It's like a pre-workout before walking and exploring Petra so that's great I guess.

Great location - the hotel is walking distance from entrance to the monument. The breakfast spread is always good amazing. Good place to stay for a day while exploring Petra. The view from the bar at the terrace is pretty good. They also have a decent beer collection.

I have not had the opportunity to stay at this hotel. I made a non-refundable reservation before the conflict between Israel and Palestine began and a few weeks later the airline I was going to travel with canceled my flights and the Government of Spain warned that it was not advisable to go to the area and that the correct was to cancel or postpone the trip. For these reasons I contacted the hotel through all possible means but they neither wanted to refund my money nor responded to my messages nor did they accept a change of dates. I have traveled all over the world and experienced similar situations and I have NEVER, EVER seen a lack of empathy like this. It is the worst experience I have ever had because even the Jordanian government has granted me a postponement from Jordan while the people at this hotel did not even respond to the messages. UNBELIEVABLE.

Nery nice structure near the visitor centre of Petra. The staff was very friendly (we had a problem during the trip and they gave us a night more without forewarning). During our two nights spent in Nomads Hotel, the dinner wasnt available in the structure so we had to order by a local restaurant (that wasnt cheap and accept only payment with cash).

I couldn't be more impressed with the overall experience. The hotel's location is simply fantastic - less than 10 minutes away from the visitors center of Petra, which allowed me to maximize my time exploring the site without any hassle. The staff were excellent on all levels, from the moment I checked in, their warm welcome and genuine friendliness made me feel like a valued guest. They were very accommodating and incredibly knowledgeable about Petra, answering all my questions and providing insightful suggestions on places to visit and activities to try. The highlight of my stay was the rooftop bar with its stunning panoramic views of Petra's mountains. I tried the local beer and it was really good! It was nice to enjoy the breathtaking sunset after a full day of exploration of the site. The value for the price paid was exceptional!! I strongly recommend Nomads hotel to travelers looking for an unforgettable, hassle-free stay in Petra.

Stayed for two nights while visiting Petra, and it is literally a 2 min drive from the visitor center so great location to start. The ambience is solid, cool exterior, with a dining room offering dinner+breakfast and terrace with alcoholic bar and sweeping views of the lights dotting Wadi Musa I was in the 4-bed room and can’t complain - met a few cool people and curtained-beds were offered. Offer lunch boxes for the road in Petra but they were subpar. Hosts were nice and helpful, a good stop while seeing the wonders of Petra.
