Antilia Apartments

Stelios and Rena are extremely kind and helpful, which gives a good vibe for the complex. My wife and I usually make a point of never going back to the same place (there’s a whole world out there!) but we would definitely return to Antilias Apar**ents. It was great for us as we wanted somewhere quiet and relaxing and that’s just what we got. The wonderful breakfast is a leisurely affair with no apparent time restrictions. The village is just a few minutes walk with buses every half hour though the beach is more of a hike but, then, you’ve done your homework so you know that already. We particularly chose Antilia for the decent sized pool and it was reassuring to see the PH tested each day and kept scrupulously clean. Our apar**ent was also well looked after.

We returned last week after staying for 11 nights ,the apar**ents are lovely and the views are amazing ,we had a lovely time The hill is a killer but the other way up is much easier id recommend car hire as there is much to see although the bus is very reliable cheap and regular Stelios and Rena are fabulous and very helpful we will return, the only negative is the pool side bar is only really open for breakfast but isn't that big a deal really.

Booked last minute stay at these apar**ents and we were not disappointed. The apar**ent looked out over the beautiful Aegean Sea. The apar**ent was clean and had everything required for our stay. Stelios and Rena are fabulous and are a credit to Greek hospitality! We hired a car through Stelios and visited Kissamos, Kolymvari, Chania and the lakes and had a wonderful dinner at Elias Thea to watch the beautiful sunset as recommended by Stelios. The apar**ents are on a steep hill so be aware of this if have mobility issues but Stelios met us off the bus when arriving to take us up and Rena took us back down for departing which was appreciated. The local buses run frequently and are cheap, you can go about 10 mins to Plantanias which has a lot of bars and restaurants available. Best supermarket is the Synka good prices there is one in Tavronitis too and bakery just down the hill from the apar**ents. The beaches are mostly pebbles so take water shoes, there are some sandy ones but are crowded. Overall this was a super week in the sun and a first time stay in Crete and it won’t be the last.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at the Antilia apar**ents. The apar**ents are clean, spacious and very well equipped. Stelios the owner and his sister Rena are, as other reviews have stated, wonderful hosts. They are extremely helpful - they even arranged a hospital visit for my son when he injured his finger. Stelios has time for everyone and goes over and above to ensure all guests have a great stay. The resort is small, but has a handful of tavernas & bars in the village and at the sea front, offering good food and great hospitality. We hired a car through Stelios which allowed us to visit some of the beautiful beaches in the area. We also used the local bus to get into Chania & to local resorts - it was cheap, regular and reliable and again highly recommended for ease. We were extremely sorry to have to leave these wonderful apar**ents & can see why some visitors return year after year. We can’t recommend these apar**ents highly enough.

Just returned from a week at these beautiful apar**ents in Tavronitis. Lovely sea view from the room. A short walk to two great restaurants and supermarkets. The owners Stelios and Rena are absolutely fantastic lovely people. Stelios has time to talk to you about his life experiences that are very interesting. If there is anything you need to know about the area he will tell you all you need to know. One of the nicest people we have ever met!

Superb, beautiful apar**ents and views. Clean. Owners are super attentive and very helpful. Can’t knock it one bit. Lovely place to stay and the location is great. Rooms are big enough for a family of five too. Air on on the rooms also which is needed.

Couple of weeks ago we came back from Antilia Apar**ents and we had the best holiday so far! The location of the apar**ents is fantastic, with a perfect view, spotless and well equipped. The kindness and friendliness of the owners is exceptional! Rena and Stelios are very obliging hosts. They offer superior accommodation in attractive gardens with a good size pool. Due to its elevated location there are expansive views along the coast and the sea. (There is a very steep hill to negotiate)

We have had a lovely visit to Crete, our first. Antilia Apar**ents for us was pretty perfect. Situated on a hill up from the centre of Travonitis the view from the apar**ent was probably the best we’ve had (we have visited a lot of Greek islands). The hosts are friendly and always ready to offer advice and tips on where to go. Apar**ents are clean and comfortable. We hired a scooter and traveled all over the Chania region enjoying breathtaking scenery. Would definitely recommend Antilia for a peaceful (away from the crowds) type stay.
