Hotels near ¨La Casa de las Flores＂ in Playa del Carmen

The hotel is close to the seaside, online booking is much cheaper, there are about 10 free parking spaces, the health is good, the rooms are relatively large, the decoration is a bit old, the bathroom is not very good, there is a swimming pool, other facilities are not seen There are supermarkets and restaurants in the surrounding area. It is very convenient to eat and buy things. There are many bars and souvenir shops on the beach.

Awesome rooms, friendly and supportive members of staff, simple but decent breakfast, close to the beach and to the main road, with plenty of bars, clubs and entertainment, malls and you name it, pool was with a stunning view over the sea, gym was also state of the art.

I made a reservation for my family while they were visiting Mexico and on the email it stated that they would have until 3 am to check in. They were at a wedding in another town and could not check in until later because of the distance. Since it was already midnight and they knew they were an hour away they called the hotel numerous times because Wyndham states that you can make special arrangements with the hotel directly if you plan to check in late. No one ever answered! No big deal they will be there before 3am. They ended up getting a flat tire and it took forever to get help to fix it. Again, visiting from another Country. No one ever answered the front desk again. I called Wyndham directly and they tried calling…no one answered. My family gets there at 3:10am and are turned away and refused! Again, reservations already made for 2 rooms. They have been through a lot and stuck. The reservation department said they could not help me but to call in the morning and speak to Wyndham customer service directly. Ok, but what about my family? Luckily they found a nearby random hotel and just checked in. They have an elderly lady with them with health issues and had to deal with someone that first off never even answered at the front desk at all from 12am-3am. Not even when Wyndham reservations called. I’m sure this place is nice but I’m just annoyed because I’ve been to enough hotels all over the place to know that accommodations can be made. I’m just going to stick to Hiltons.

We have been travelling through Mexico for 3 weeks and Hotel Encantada was the worst experience at all. The room was very noisy, the bus station is just across the street and the whole time we were listening to a machine announcing bus arrivals and departures. There was no balcony. The reception staff was absolutely useless, they were not able to help us, tourists, to arrange anything. Not even to advise where we can buy a bottle of water in the middle of night when we arrived. And the oxxo shop was just around the corner! On top of this all, after checking out in a hurry, I realized I forgot a shirt in our room and my friend forget her cosmetics. I immediately asked the receptionist to check and give it back to us. They asked the cleaning lady, she claimed to know nothing and find nothing. I believe I was pretty insistent and still, they did not return our stuff. So the cleaning lady or the reception staff either stole our things or threw ithem away and did not confess to either. I would NOT recommend to anyone to stay in this useless stealing place.

We came here to celebrate my birthday. When we arrived Charlie was there to check us in and he was very friendly and helpful. We saw him at various times during our stay and he was always friendly and witty. Angel helped us with our bags and he was also very friendly each time we saw him. I had a super relaxing hot stones massage from Rubi. I would recommend her and the massage. Fernanda researched and organised an excursion for us. Fernanda was very patient while we worked out what we wanted to do and when. We had her details on Whatsapp so we could ask her questions in advance and she always replied. I loved the selection at the breakfast buffet. I would only say I wished the hot options were hot rather than just warm. This didn't stop me from having the hot selection though as it was always tasty. Alongside hot there was an omelette station (I didn't try this) plus selections of cakes, fruit, cereals and juice. The team in the restaurant kept the coffee coming and the coffee was also very nice. A shout out to Gabriel and Carla who made us feel welcome each morning. The restaurant is actually Ipanema's Brazilian Grill which serves amazing food in the evening but I was disappointed that it was the Brazillian grill or eat out. Not that much of a hardship as there are loads of eateries nearby but it would have been nice to have a choice. Although Magic Blue is a beautiful and super relaxing hotel, there were a few things which bugged me (didn't stop us from enjoying our stay). The bar area is lacking in atmosphere. It didn't feel like a place where you could hang out and be sociable. Food at the bar is only available up to 8pm. It's difficult to know if it's so dead there because people prefer to go to nearby bars or whether people go to the nearby bars because Magic Blue's is so dead. For that reason we only sat in the bar area once during our 10-day stay, although we did order drinks from there to have at the pool. The gardens and pool area are very well maintained (I loved the landscaping), but the stairs to our rooms and our terrace could have been cleaned better. We were on the 3rd floor in one of the master suites and there was bird droppings at a corner of our terrace when we arrived and up until we left 10 days later. The droppings looked like they had been there for a while. Birds did seem to like perching on the railings, all the more reason to do a proper clean each day I think. While we liked our room, it was clearly evident where repairs have been done. It looks like there was no attempt to make good where, for example, there might have been a leak in the past. For the price of the rooms I think more care should be taken with presentation. We saw the same in the spa. It doesn't have to be seamless but at least try not to make the end result look botched. All in all we like and would recommend Magic Blue. The staff made all the difference.

Large complex with several pools and dining options, though some amenities not available due to covid. Generally helpful and kind staff, one gentleman at the concierge wasn't the best but the manager was great! The beach had lots of space, places to sit and staff available for beverage service. Overall a nice place to stay!

I don’t even know where to start. Residence Inn at Marriot Playa Del Carmen has to be on of my pleasant hotel experiences ever. Starting from the positive vibe you feel as soon as you enter the premises all the way to when you checkout, they make you feel like a truly valued guest. Staff Everyone keeps smiling at you and they always try their best to accommodate your requests. Willy(security) was always there to assist whenever we arrived at the hotel. He was very professional and knowledgeable of the area, so he could put you on the right track regardless of which destination you were trying to get to. Gabriela (front desk) was super pleasant to work with during our check-in, when we had to extend our stay and every others time we had to request assistance from her. She always had a smile on her face and truly made us feel welcome. Cleanness The hotel appears to be brand new, with modern amenities and great décor. They keep all the common areas squeaky clean. I had to work from my room, so oftentimes when Domingo and Paulina came by to clean the room, I was in the middle of a meeting, but they never gave up on me and kept coming back until they made sure my room was clean on daily basis. Amenities Considering it is a hotel, they have an amazing gym and rooftop pool. I was hesitant about working out there at first when I made a reservation, but after seeing the equipment, size and clean environment they have at the gym, I actually looked forward to working out in the mornings. Food They serve decent breakfast(included) in the mornings between 7 to 10 am. They also have a specious dining area, so you will never have an issue finding a table. Waiters are also amazing, they try everything they can to make sure you have a pleasant dining experience. Thank you for an amazing experience, we will be back!

This was my second stay at the Westin Cozumel. The property is beautiful and well-maintained, and in a nice location - just a 5-10 taxi ride into town. There are several restaurants that are excellent and just steps away. The private beach and snorkeling steps away is a real plus. The staff is very pleasant and kind, particularly Damian at the front desk. We also enjoyed a massage at the Zazil spa on-site - excellent services with hydrotherapy and very skilled masseuse. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and amazing views. Would recommend! The only I thing i foresee needing an update would be the bathroom tile work - it's starting to look a little dated/ragged. It's a short ride from the airport so, traveling from Houston, we can be on the beach with a drink in hand in under 4 hours. Win. win.

I would not recommend this hotel. There was no water supply in the room and electricity supply in the communal area (which means no lift) for our last night of stay. We have to carry our heavy luggage down the stairs at check out. Receptionist promised to refund the money for the last night, but our booking agent said the hotel is not reachable as they never reply to phone calls or emails, so our refund request is still on hold. The hotel committed to proceed with our refund immediately but obviously this is not the case. I am really disappointed with my stay.

Absolutely awesome place to recharge, relax, swim, enjoy great views etc. World class service. We had been traveling for two full days before arriving and we’re greeted by one of the most helpful front desk ppl I’ve ever encountered (Stefan). He got us registered, and ready to go in record time. Our stay was perfect.
