Poitiers Hostels

The hotel is very clean. With a very friendly and smiled house staff, we rented 3 rooms 210 110 and 109. The 210 is very well located, clean bathroom but to refresh to have more than 🌟. The 110 with a stick but very clean. very warm also happy SB fan presence very well. The person at the reception really sympathetic because of a small tax error has gently offered to me and my children Viennan and orange juice. Thanks to the hotel for its welcome and cleanliness.

I had booked 3 rooms from 28 to 30 December last and was taken from the amount to be paid on 24 December . On December 29, I had to cancel a room for COVID reason and naturally asked for reimbursement .... and it was answered that the price I received was not cancelable and not refundable until 5 days before arrival Since when POWER ON POSITIVE PERSON TO BE 5 DAYS PRIOR Arrival....... and I was offered an exceptionally on 11 January a postponement PRIOR FIN FEBRUARY 2022.....

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights, left the car in the hotels secure car park and explored the city on foot, the centre being pedestrianised. We were really pleased with the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff who spoke good English, very clean and large room with a good shower in the bathroom. Plenty restaurants nearby, across the road is Taco & co who do love tasty carry outs or eat ins, their chicken is finger lickin good ! 5 minutes walk takes you to Mekong Pacific, an authentic Chinese restaurant ran by Mr Duc, a very nice man. We will stay here again next time we visit Poitiers

The hotel is very central in this delightful town. Loading and unloading is easy in the one way street but parking is a short walk away in a public car park, which the hotel will pay for. built inside what was a monastery it has interesting internal architecture and our rooms were two story with the bed up some stairs. This might not suit everyone but otherwise very well equipped and a good breakfast.

Had very low expectations because of all the bad reviews. However it's not that bad or I was lucky. The room was small (but it's normal for an Ibis) but fortunately there was no street noise or serious malfunctions. The room wasn't too hot although it was +30 degrees outside. The bed was comfortable. Can't comment on breakfast. It was a bit odd but nobody on the front desk spoke any English. I know I'm in France but this is an international chain hotel in a touristic city (Poitiers is very nice and underrated, by the way). One more thing - my stay cost me 25 EUR. If the price was 2-3 times higher, perhaps I would be more picky.

Location, faultless. Right on the centre of the old town. Ideal for sightseeing. The reception is tucked away up a side entry but once found its a pretty straight forward check in procedure. It's not huge and doesn't need to be. The room was more than adequate for me travelling on my own. Clean bedlinen, laundered towels and a tea tray stocked. Safe in wardrobe if needed along with enough clothes hangers to keep all shirts crease free. My view wasn't at all interesting but then I didn't pay for a view. 2 mins walk to the main square gives you all you want to zee see. The reception doubles up as a casual bar, while breakfast is in the first floor bar? Go figure. Breakfast was vast and catered for all. The staff were all very pleasant and courteous. Room service is an option extra should you choose.

De camino a Normandía paramos en Poitiers y escogimos este hotel para pasar una noche. El hotel está muy bien ubicado, en la misma Plaza del Ayuntamiento. No tiene parking propio, pero a pocos metros puedes dejar tu coche en el parking del ayuntamiento a un módico precio (9€ desde las 17 horas hasta las 10 del día siguiente). Es el típico hotel francés con fachada de piedra, una vez cruzas la entrada te encuentras con estancias muy pequeñas, incluido el ascensor, pero reformadas. Nuestra habitación triple estaba en la segunda planta, con vistas a la plaza del ayuntamiento. Su decoración es igual a la de las fotos que aparece en la web del hotel. Descansamos muy bien (colchón muy cómodo) y pese a su ubicación tan céntrica no tuvimos problemas con ruidos. No escogimos la opción de desayuno (en ese caso te lo sirven en la habitación) ; en la misma plaza del ayuntamiento hay varias cafeterías para hacerlo. Recomendable para una estancia corta por su buena relación calidad/precio

I really like the old lady at the receptionist. We arrived in the morning with our luggage while the check-in time is after 3pm. We called the receptionist to ask about leaving them at the hotel earlier. The lady was very kind, cheerful and helpful on the phone. She even helped us to check in way earlier, at 10am. She is the reason why I instantly thought about writing the review here, which I rarely do. The room exceeded our expectations. We have our separate beds, clean and bright bathroom + toilet, kitchen with all the necessary utensils, a fridge, a stove. All the staff we met at the hotel are really professional with highest degree of caring. Highly recommended!
