We stayed at the Maison de Marc for one night in 2016 and returned in 2022 for 3 nights. The new proprietor, Emma Marchadier, does a wonderful job with this small gem of a place. With only 3 rooms, it has a personal feel to it. The rooms are beautiful furnished with high quality furnishings and decor, and very comfortable beds. The bathroom is big and well equipped. A delicious and plentiful breakfast is served each day, including local products and some of Emma's own baked goods. Emma knows Poitiers well and was a great resource for restaurant recommendations and tips on things to see and do in Poitiers. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Maison de Marc and recommend it highly! Many people pass through Poitiers and may just stay one night (as we did the first time) but it's a great city to explore and enjoy over a few days, while staying in delightful accommodations. It's not teeming with foreign tourists and is a nice way to experience "real" France.

Très belle découverte en plein centre de Poitiers a 6min a pieds de la gare, dans une petite rue peu passante donc calme. Un service impeccable, un endroit charmant et chaleureux joliment décoré. Nous n'y sommes restés qu'une nuit mais c'était parfait ! Un grand merci à notre hôte !

Très belle découverte, La maison de Marc est un joli écrin de douceur. Emma est très à l’écoute et disponible afin que votre séjour se passe au mieux. Les chambres sont spacieuses et décorées avec beaucoup de goût. Et le petit déjeuner fait maison sera faire pétiller toutes les papilles..

Très bon séjour dans cette charmante chambre d'hôte, bien équipée, au calme et en plein centre ville. Le petit déjeuner est conçu avec des produits maisons et locaux. La dame qui tient la maison est accueillante et aux petits soins, et donne des bonnes adresses pour se restaurer. Je recommande vivement.
