The Vilalara Resort has outstanding service, comfortable rooms, gorgeous views, impeccable gardens, delicious breakfast, clean and calm beach. Can’t say enough good things. Great value for your money, highly recommended.

Great hotel and staff. Location is like a postcard. Facilities were great, rooms were huge and maid service/turndown perfect. Only complaint is they couldn't make change for large bills.

When we arrived at the apar**ent provided to us, we were very disappointed. We booked a garden view apar**ent The site is very good and enjoyable. We came across a dilapidated garden overlooking the roof, making this place unhappy. We immediately requested a change. We are slow and have many excuses, but they did not answer us. We think it is very lack of care and courtesy because it is low season and the hotel is not full. We went to have a good time, but it was boring.

This property has the most amazing views. The staff are friendly and our room was large and clean and modern. Would highly recommend this resort!

The privacy and yet accessibility to the resort’s facilities. The staff were exceptional in their care and professionalism. The excellent, breakfast viennoiserie.

I can’t say how much I enjoyed this resort. The service A , the amenities, the views, the staff all exceeded my expectations. The only part of this resort that didn’t all the way blow my mind was the food. It was good/average. I’m a food fanatic so you can trust me. The breakfast in the morning is amazing , but the dinners itself fell a little short and left me wanting for a better experience. This is not due to the staff because service is great but the chef can do better. Overall still rating this resort 5 star!

Great experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing location, design, landscaping, service and food. Highly recommend. We also booked an afternoon trip with their yacht which was excellent. The chef and sommelier at the B&G restaurant were really friendly and made a tasting dinner that night very special.

My number one reason for booking this hotel was that I wanted access to the private beach, which was absolutely perfect and I enjoyed every minute of my time on it. It’s a gorgeous beach, with very comfortable chairs and lots of shade. The hotel itself is lovely, the grounds expansive. Make sure you’re in good shape, there’s a lot of stairs and a lot of walking uphill, which, of course leads to beautiful views! The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. A big thanks to Ramon for his recommendation at eating at Joao restaurant in Guia. Amazing PiriPiri and the yummiest tomatoes ever. The hotel includes water for the room and coffee, but that’s pretty much it. For the cost, I’ve stayed in places which were equally nice, but included more amenities and little treats for guests, either in the room, or on the resort, and usually would include breakfast. The restaurants are unbelievably overpriced, and if you have a car, there are many delicious options within driving distance that are more local, authentic Portuguese experience. Overall, we had an excellent stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel and visit again.

Beautiful property great staff

Absolutely beautiful grounds with fruit rrees, flowers, walking paths and spectacular views of the sea and cliffs. Great tour by reception staff on check in to show you around. Well placed pools, even a salt water heated one, and stunning views of the ocean. The staff were exceptionally helpful. Food especially breakfast buffet was delicious. Spa is really top notch. Many shops and restaurants nearby in walking distance as well as a hiking trail to a nearby town. Overall extremely relaxing experience with so many sunbeds all around to lie down and enjoy the views of the grounds while you listen to the sounds of the waves.

Fantastic stay! Every day we went out exploring the area we were so happy to get back to our property! Besides the beautiful grounds and multiple pools on the property, you essentially have your own private beach. In theory, I believe anyone could enjoy this beach from another entrance point, but during our 5-day stay it was uncrowded and for the most part, only accessed by other hotel guests. You felt like you had the place to yourself! The breakfast was great and our room was comfortable and spacious (though a bit dated). A lot of amenities from tennis and padle courts to beaches and pools plus ,many inviting spaces to sit and relax throughout the beautifully manicured property.
