We stayed here for 11 nights. Upon arrival unfortunately the room was not available but then it was an early flight from Gatwick and we had landed at about 8:30 and got to resort at 9:30am so expected. The appar**ents that we were allocated were in a block just left of reception and down the steps. There was a handy golf buggy that was able to take us plus luggage part of the way then there was about 20 steps to go up. THERE ARE A LOT OF STEPS! so please bear in mind if you have limited mobility. Appar**ent: We had a one bedroom appar**ent. The kitchen has limited facilities: 2 ring hob and microwave, FridgeFreezer and that's it! no toaster no kettle (can get upon request). The room does have a safe and this is payable at €3 per day. The bedroom had a lovely balcony and there was also a balcony off the lounge with lovely views across the forest and towards the sea. The lounge has a large sofa dinning table and a wardrobe so in all you have two wardrobes. Towels are fresh daily but if you are like us and you don't require just leave them in view then you won't be unindated with them. Sheets you get clean sheets delivered every three days again if their not dirty why change. Bins were emptied daily. THERE IS NO CLEANING DONE BY THE CLEANING STAFF UNLESS REQUESTED AT AN EXTRA CHARGE. For us we tend to keep faily tidy so not a problem. There is an aircon unit in the lounge can be a bit noisy. POOL: No need for you to take a pool towel. You are handed a towel card when you check in and this can be exchanged for towels. Pool is freeezing! but fine once your in - its the getting in! The pool depth is from 1m35 to 1m10 so most can stand. There is a childs pool also. Remember you are self catering so you are aloud your own drinks and food etc around the pool. No glass. Resturant: Great food opens around noon. Large beer €4.50 bottle of wine €15 takeaway ice cream cone €2. Large portions, there is limit kids menu varied menu for adults. Supermarket: By reception not a great selection but handy. Supermarket at the bottom of the hill again not a great selection. These are both more expensive than the Spar in Porec Transport: The best way to get to Porec is via the tourist train. This can be picked up at the bottom of the hill by the Lito supermarket. It was €4 per person each way there is a time table in reception (take a photo). It can get a bit busy. The train also goes to the Zelena Resort definately worth a visit- lots of resturants and little coves for swimming and a few shops. Bikes can be rented from various points but can be expensive if you plan doing this each day. You can walk which is lovely through the forest takes about 35-40 minutes. Sea: Remember your watershoes as the sea is only accessible via stoney beaches or via ladders from the land edges. We enjoy'd our time here very peaceful although there is night life at the bottom of the hill and the resturant next to the pool can get quite jolly! Would recommend.

First the obvious. It's on a massive hill, so yes there are steep slopes and stairs. I'm fat, I managed it! This is one of the best places we've stayed. The apar**ent was lovely, a little tired but mega Aircon which was a life saver in 36 degree heat! No loud neighbours and a lovely safe feel across the whole complex. The pool at the top of the hill was gorgeous. Lovely breeze and heated pool. Nigh**are getting loungers, often lots saved with towels with no one to be seen. But we just started coming later and it was fine then. Beaches at the bottom of the hill were like a dream. The little stony cove was our favourite and we often paid for loungers just for extra comfort but it was fine without if you didn't mind a stony bum. The water was clear but bring water shoes, it's very rocky. We got half board at the neighbouring hotel (10 mins walk) and it was delicious. Drinks were included over the summer. Nice beer on tap and red and white wine alongside softs too. The food was great. Lots of grilled meat and fish and even some pizza for the pickier eaters or those just needing a carb fix. All round this was an absolute dream trip for us. My knees are done in from the stairs but we loved it and will definitely return if we come back to the area. Watch out for the land trains though. They fly around so fast and wouldn't have a chance of stopping if someone ran out into the road!

Very small rooms and not what we booked (no balcony) but things for kids to do made up for it

Great self catering place. Ideal for families and couples. Very hilly and loads of stairs so beware if you are a bit unfit or have mobility issues. Restaurant on site is great and the pool is big, clean and perfectly positioned with plenty of sunbeds and brollies. Nice walk into Porec. No kettle or toaster which was a bit disappointing. Bed was lovely and comfy and room was clean, if a bit dated. It was my second visit but have decided my last as the stairs and hills nearly killed me.

Really nice located place , perfect for long walks , nice beaches just down the hill. People at the reception very helpful and professional. Unfortunately, the room smelled like mould z we were opening windows but the smell didn't go away...we had broken wardrobe , broken chair at the balcony , broken wine opener, one fork. The cleanliness , I would also not rate it for the highest standards, the bathroom was not really clean when we got there. Both of the markets were mostly close in the week , and the closest one is in Porec. There was no opening hours on them so we never knew when they will be open or close. We came in the end of April, it's not the season and most of the places are opening beginning of May. The resort had a little bar ( only paid cash ) , cash machine at the permissess ( charge 5€) a train to go to Porec and a boat taxi :) I loved the location but would not chose the same accomodation.

Like other reviews have said, the English is definitely a minority with most people being German. However, this was not an issue. All staff spoke English and were very kind and helpful. The complex is very clean and lovely staff. BE WARNED - the whole complex is on one big hill. The apar**ents are in rows of 6, from top of the hill to the bottom. If you will be using the facilities more like the pool and on site restaurant (which is very lovely and recommended), then you want an apar**ent 1-300s near the top of the hill. If you'll be going to Porec and exploring off site more, request an apar**ent 400-600s down the bottom. We were in 214 and by the end of the week, the steps had killed me off. If you're not very mobile or have issues with stairs, I really wouldn't recommend staying here. We had a studio apar**ent which was a great size, big comfy bed and private outside terrace area. Porec is stunning, about a 30 min walk away or you can take the tourist train which comes every 30-35 mins. Reception have a timetable for you to take a photo of. There is a small shop on site but there is a much bigger one at the bottom of the hill called Lito Market. Use that one, there is much more choice. The surrounding areas are a beautiful forest with the most stunning sea views I've ever seen. The bottom of the hill is the beach area but this isn't sand, its pebble beaches and rocks you can lie on or sit on sun chairs. Overall we adored the apar**ents and would 100% recommend Bellevue!

I have just returned from a week at these apar**ents. As per the previous review English are in the minority both in the Plava Laguna complex and Porec as a whole. However, this was not an issue and everyone was friendly and welcoming. We had a one bed apar**ent which was clean and spacious, the only downfall would be that the apar**ent was not cleaned throughout the duration of the stay. This is odd as the bins are emptied daily so I'm unsure why the floors etc can't be mopped at the same time. Porec is around a 30 minute walk, if you go down the steps (there are quite a few) and turn right you can follow the coastal path throught the Valamar resort and into Porec, we did detour on one occasion however there wasn't a pavement at particular points and therefore we felt it safer to follow the path. There is a train that stops outside the mini Market at the bottom of the steps this operates around every 35 minutes and costs only 20 kuna but does get full at times. The pool on the complex was really nice and clean with adequate lounges, it was probably missing a little bit of music for a**osphere. There was security on the complex who would regularly patrol which made us feel really safe. Overall would recommend and would return.

On arrival we had a problem with our room but we were placed in a good alternative until ours was ready and offered free dinner and breakfast. The staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms were clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The pool and toilets were clean. There are housemartins nesting in the building near the pool so you can sit and watch them. Also swallows and swifts can be seen flying over. The whole resort is clean and tidy. Close to the beautiful beach along with bars and restaurants. It's a fair walk, about a mile, to the old town but there is a tourist train and boat taxi at reasonable prices or places to stop for a drink along the way. We would go back again and would reccomend.
