Comfort Suites Portland Airport

We fly in from Hawaii, our flight delayed 3 hours, so we arrived at the hotel at 4am, the girl at the counter was walking towards outside and saw us entering the hotel with luggages without saying a word, we thought she was stepped out just a bit, and waited in the lobby, but she disappeared! There was another man in the lobby he tried to help us find her however no luck. We were so very tired and waited in the lobby for half an hour, she finally came in and gave us the key of the room, it only took like 2 minutes. If it were that simple, why not just handed the key to us upon our arrival, we tried to make phone calls, but the phone rang right in front of us in the counter with nobody inside, it's very very very frustrated.

The property is very clean and the staff was very nice and they let us check in early with no hassle.

Pool needed chemicals, the water was a greenish color. Hot tub was very foamy on the second day I was there. I couldn’t see the water at all just a thick layer of white foam. My son and I were only able to use the pool or hot tub one night (after waiting a reasonable 20 min). The remaining two nights were very busy with one or more families that had 6+ kids that which were continually in the pool and hot tub. We checked several different times throughout the afternoon and evening but it was full.

We were in Portland for a short trip to visit a relative. Comfort Suites met all of our expectations and then some! Our room was very clean and more than adequate to meet our needs for 3 nights. We especially appreciated the nice sitting area in our room, the ample complementary breakfast, and the airport shuttle service. We will definitely plan to stay at this hotel when we return to Portland.

Enjoyed my time here! Quiet and comfortable no issues! Check in was a quick and easy process. Breakfast was great and rooms cozy! I would recommend staying here and I would also stay again. Airport close by along with various food options just a short drive.

The front desk / shuttle driver on this morning, Janet, made up for the rude unhelpful person last night. Desk person, not shuttle driver last night.

The heater running in the third floor hallway makes too much noise. I wound up sleeping in the car.

Lobby smell was unpleasant. Staff was friendly and room was clean but dated with some furniture damaged.

Room was clean, easy access to hotel off the 205, ample parking, surprisingly quiet for the busy area, pool and hot tub were nice. We had little interaction with staff except at check- in and check-out, but the small interaction we had the staff were hospitable and friendly. Easy and fast check-in process. Only stayed one night and didn't make it down in time for breakfast, but we would certainly stay again.
