We stayed at the hotel in August 2023, in a superior room with a sea view - unsurpassed! What I liked: 1. The location is good for our taste, because it is a little further from the noisy streets. It has its own rocky coast and access to the sea. Restaurants and souvenir shops are a 15-minute walk away. 2. The hotel is self-sufficient - there is everything for a relaxing holiday: a large swimming pool, umbrellas and deckchairs, a restaurant and bar, terraces for gatherings, access to the sea. 3. I recommend taking the Superior room with a sea view, because this room category has been updated and the balcony with a view is really impressive. Cleaned every day. There is air conditioning and a refrigerator. Good sound insulation. 4. Good breakfasts - scrambled eggs, sausages, cheese, ham, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee and a very tasty variety of pastries. We also had lunch there and ordered cocktails - very fun, friendly staff. The restaurant also has a wonderful view of the pool and the sea. 5. The territory is very nicely decorated, there are places to sit in silence. The interior of the hotel is traditionally decorated in the Sicilian style with interesting furniture and paintings. There is an elevator. 6. There is a swimming pool with sea water and different water levels, as well as showers. There is enough space for everyone. For those who can swim, there is also a great alternative to go down to the sea - there are steps from the rocks. You can walk 10 minutes to the sandy beach. There is a free zone (a bit dirty), there is a paid zone (30 euros for two people) and it is worth the money (convenience, cleanliness, nice beach, umbrellas and seats). What can be improved is to add more vegetables to breakfast. In general, I am very satisfied with this hotel and I am grateful to everyone who makes the vacation there so wonderful!

Nice room next to the supermarket

We have just returned from a week at Hotel Rivage. We were delighted with an extremely warm welcome and complementary juices on our arrival. There were some things to go through before we were shown our room, but this meant that we were instantly clear about where our meals would be served and times etc. (I’d rather be told than have to read it for myself.) Breakfast is self service buffet style with plenty of choice and enjoyed in the bright dining area next to the pool. Dinner was served in the hotel’s restaurant across the road overlooking the beach. Really lovely. Our room was spotlessly clean, fresh sheets every 3 days and lovely fluffy towels. We were very comfortable and were glad we had paid extra for a sea view and balcony, perfect location for pre dinner g&t’s with just the sound of the waves in the background. (The road in front leads nowhere so traffic is fairly minimal at the front.) Overall a lovely hotel in a good location a bus ride from Taormina for shops & history. There’s also a train station in Letojanni for excursions so no need to hire a car. The hotel organised a tour for us too, up to high village locations for The Godfather films. This was excellent. In fact all the staff in both the hotel and restaurant were very friendly and welcoming, always with a cheery greeting and very attentive. The only negative for us was the jacuzzi bath tub - it was a bit of a struggle to enter the over bath shower - not as agile as we used to be!

Unfortunately this 4 star hotel was lacking (Wifi kept going out Rooms very loud Staff not that welcoming Small pour of 8€ wine Pool closed Bed linen and pillows thin Limited parking with scary hill to drive down to get to hotel) Perks: good assortment for breakfast, sunrise views from breakfast space, clean, well stocked bathroom Would give 5/10

We stayed here for six days this September as part of our two weeks in Italy. Firstly , am amazing pool!!! Secondly, staff really friendly from the reception to the waiters. We went gif half board knowing , even with a car , Other bars and crates not that near. We trained it to Palermo one day for anti- mafia tour. We went to Savoca where part of the godfather was filmed, really pretty. The tweaks required are , in our opinion , is to vary the evening menu. Also the towels policy of three days to change. This is room and beach/pool towels, when on holiday the sun cream is used and you’re dipping in the pool and showed more. However on the whole a great place but you need a car !!

The room is slightly old, but the bed is very comfortable, the balcony has an invincible sea view, and the balcony door is open at night to listen to the waves against the moonlight to sleep very comfortable, so that you can instantly open the seaside holiday mode. The hotel and room are actually very clean, and one star is missing because there is a stain on the curtains like blood. Breakfast is quite rich compared to other local hotels. A few minutes walk from isola bella. The bus stop is at the door, and it is very convenient to go directly to other places and airports. The hotel also has a free bus to the town center, but the shifts and seats are limited. Walking is a bit dangerous because there is no sidewalk on the mountain and there is a motorway. The hotel staff is very patient and explain the problems in detail.

Had a wonderful 11 nights here on a half board bases, the room was comfortable and cleaned daily although a little minor maintenance required but nothing we couldn't live with, Food was adequate and the service was excellent especially Leonardo and Alexandro who did everything they could to make our experance as great as possible, although the food did get a bit samey. The pool is now open and is salt water with plenty of loungers in the vicinity. If you can afford to there are plenty of restaurants in the local area that are reasonably priced. I would say 60 euros for 2 persons without wine per meal Would definitely stay here again
