Reviews of Sikara Lombok Hotel

Tucked away behind the busy streets of Kuta, this hotel looks great, with nice pools (but a little small) and gardens. Rooms and amenities however are not that great, considering the high price. Toilet brushes and paper were of the lowest quality, shower water wasn't warm enough and the hair dryer was pretty bad. Also water drainage from the shower had some issues. Outdoor style shower was nice though. Wi-fi didn't work at all on the second day, and had to ask for the password myself on the first breakfast is limited and not so nice. Pancakes were very thick and dry, noodles were too sweet. Coffee and juice were alright. Would give it a better rating if the price was slashed in half.

Location: Excellent and strategic, situated conveniently close to the city center of Kuta. Dining: High-quality food that tastes great while remaining very reasonably priced. Cleanliness: Room cleaning was unfortunately a bit sloppy and half-hearted. Verdict: Apart from the lax housekeeping, the rest of the stay was perfectly fine.

We have been very happy with our stay. The best thing is not even the two pools, one of them Adults only, it's the breakfast, heavenly delicious breakfast. Multiple choices with speciality coffee, fresh juice (real one and well balanced. Beyond anything, it's the staff, helpful and ready to help, but most importantly, kind and in a good disposition. Cons: bathroom doesn't really drain well and it always smells slightly of sewer, but nothing they key can do except break the floor.

Our stay was great. The hotel is beautifully designed and visually stunning. The location is excellent—close to many restaurants and bars, yet in a quiet area. The staff were very polite and always ready to help. Our room was clean, spacious, and offered a great view. Breakfast was good, though there weren’t many options for non-vegetarians.

We enjoyed everything about this hotel. The service was fantastic. Good location, close to everything but also tucked away which gave it a very relaxing atmosphere. Food was tasty.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with great attention to detail. the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The pool area is stunning and perfect for unwinding, while the food was delicious and well-presented. For the last few days of my Indonesia trip, to escape the crowds of Bali, I came to Lombok to slow down and recuperate. I stayed one night at the Sheraton in Senggigi, and the service was so attentive, detailed, and thoughtful that it was unforgettable. Arriving at this hotel, there was a huge drop-off in experience right from the moment we walked in. First, it was very unusual for them to take us to our room with our luggage to check-in. They led us to a small room on the second floor in a corner of the backyard. It was so tiny that there wasn't even space to open our suitcases. After completing the formalities, they opened the curtains and told us they were sorry, but there was construction going on at a neighbor's site outside the window, which might be disturbing. I said that wasn't right; I had clearly booked a mountain view or garden view room, which was also larger than this. This was obviously not the room I booked. My husband spent a long time discussing it with the check-in staff, and they agreed to change our room. They showed us a larger room and said we'd have to pay extra, which we didn't accept. We insisted on a room with the same conditions and price as our original booking. We then had to wait in the courtyard for a long time again. Finally, we were moved to a room that was more or less comparable to what we had booked. It felt like there was a clear差別待遇 (differential treatment) between Chinese tourists and Caucasian tourists; if you don't argue your case, you'll be assigned the worst rooms that don't meet booking standards. After that, the service attitude was still acceptable. However, the next day, I asked the housekeeping staff for two extra bottles of water. When I returned to the room, I saw a trash can filled with two bottles of water placed on the bed. I don't know what that meant. I originally wanted to be more eco-friendly and not change the bedding, but now I had no choice but to ask them to change all the linens. The hotel's location is quiet yet convenient. The design style and interior space are quite good, and the breakfast at the restaurant has long serving hours and decent taste. It's not far from the beach, and it's convenient for shopping and dining nearby, but the overall prices are a bit high.

I really enjoyed my stay at Sikara. From the moment I arrived, staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They took my to my room to check in, so I could get comfortable immediately. The room was clean and comfortable. The pools were amazing. Each one is situated just right so you can get shade no matter the time of day. The food was delicious. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to restaurants, bars, activities, etc. Highly recommend staying here if you are a solo traveler, a group of friends, or a couple.

Lovely stay and very friendly staff. It rained a lot when we visited but the pools are great. Lovely breakfast that lasts most of the day. Sadly a little construction was going on when we visited. Overall a great stay.

Beautiful hotel with yummy breakfast sets! The rooms are very spacious and the hotel is walking distance from many restaurants and a ring-making shop. I will definitely stay here again~

The property is beautiful.2 pools (one near the unit which we were placed at, adults only) the bathroom is massive and its lush surrounding is very suitable to chill. Food at the cafe is also very good and we did 2 dinners there out of out 3 nights stay. Building works is still on-going but it didn’t bother us much unless you are a late riser.

The location is excellent, the hotel is very clean, and the staff are wonderful. The only downside is the noise from the mosque nearby, which calls for prayer at 4-5 AM. 😀

Location: The location is good because its in the central of Kuta. Easy for you to go anywhere and enjoy nightlifes and foods Staffs: All the staffs there were helpful and welcoming Cleanliness: To me it was below average. The toilet seat is quite dirty, the shower heads is super slow and the bathtub needs scrubbing. Please improve Food: Breakfast was good, not a lot of options but all the food tastes great
