Hotels near Duyong Art Gallery in Pulau-Pulau

We have selected this hotel to explore Kuala Terrenganu without being among the traffic of the city side, and it was a good choice. Set on a wide area with gardens, the chalets look nice, with a lot a space around, and a buggy service if you do not wish to walk. For sure the place used to be in better conditions, and hopefully they will be able to fully renovate it if more tourists will visit this area. The room was ok, and clean, breakfast was good, and you could either sit indoor or outdoor with a nice view on the river. Duyong is a nice island where you can walk around freely, or you can just book a Grab to go to town at any time. The staff were very friendly and polite. Would we return? Yes!

It’s just a stay without breakfast. So I couldn’t explain much. I love the location as it’s at the centre of KT. The room is clean. The pool is nice. Just a bit disappointed with the limited parking lots. Overall it’s a good stay.

i had a great experience during my stay there. The rooms are very classy with all the facilities to fulfil our needs. The food served there is very delicious.

Decent stay, Decent Price and very nice location, within walking distance to the KTCC Mall which is a must visit place if you stay in Kuala terrenganu!

Location, room comfort, hotel condition I chose the Hotel Felda Residence for its location.my late check-in and overnight stay was a very pleasant experience: comfortable bed and pillows, courteous and helpful staff, clean and generous sized room, plus professional service, efficiency and tranquility for business travel. The hotel in transit at the airport is due to different religions. There is no way to be on call in our non-religious concept. Ordering food in restaurants also needs to be done after the ceremony is done. The food is delicious and not expensive. . The whole country has this kind of biological clock, the sanitation and conditions are average, just use the guest house next to the ordinary airport, the people are quite polite, and the English of the people in this country is also quite poor, it takes a while to communicate, and the airport will get off work in the evening, so it will not affect Sleep, you can witness the takeoff at 8 in the morning, and the boss drove us to the terminal, is it okay?

For a longstanding beach resort, most of the furniture and buildup is relatively aged; however cleanliness has been maintained really well, particularly more so in the rooms. Breakfast selection here is more local than international, but enough to provide a full meal, but nonetheless nothing exciting. Nasi dagang with fish curry is on the menu. Soundproofing not the greatest, though the guests are mostly courteous and it's quite an okay experience.

location of the hotel is outside the city center. Difficult for those who don’t have a car. However, it is easy to get a grab. Just wait for 5 minutes to get a grab. The breakfast is super good. Stayed there for 3 days, and the main dishes is changers every day. Nice and cosy place. During the stay, need to check in at the temporary office because under construction. The room is big but need to improve the condition of the room. Overall, if you intend for relaxing, this is the place.

With no presence of 5 star hotels in Kuala Terengganu, I had to find the best alternative. I was lucky to find Valya Hotel, situated in an area called Gong Badak. If you are having a hard time finding the perfect hotel, I think your search should end with this hotel. Look, I am someone who values good quality and top rated hotels for a comfortable stay. This hotel has many of the things I was looking for: - Free WiFi - Elevator - Close to shops, eateries, convenience stores (e.g. Jakel, Mydin, Watsons, 7-11, pharmacy etc) - Close to airport (less than 10 minutes) - Basic bath amenities and in-room slippers provided (towels, toothbrush are available) - Strong rain shower pressure, proper bidet These factors would suffice to ensure a comfortable and relaxing experience. The price point is extremely affordable. I booked a Superior Triple room with window. Although there is no ”view” from the window, you can still have some light shining through, for a less claustrophobic environment. Other things that were missing, but acceptable at the price you are paying: - No breakfast - No in-room safe - No dedicated parking space for hotel guests (more on this below) - No view from window (as mentioned) My main gripe will be parking, as mentioned by other guests who reviewed this property as well. As there are many shophouses, you should expect a chaotic and congested area full of vehicles during the day. Parking is chargeable at RM0.60 per hour, and you can pay for parking at the various stations around the parking lot, with some not functioning at all. It is a challenge to find space close to the hotel, and you will end up having to move your car closer to your hotel when the congestion clears up in the evening. Another plus staying here will be a self service laundromat on the other side of the row of shophouses. Overall, Valya Hotel is a perfect hotel for a comfortable stay in Terengganu. You can reach the city centre in mere minutes, and the airport is within close proximity. Highly recommended!
