Nice family resort, with kids friendly pool, beach. Great buffet spread and you can just cross the street to a minimart and other restaurants. Bus stop is just outside. Taxi to airport is 30 euros flat, bus is 2.4 euros.

Really nice hotel

They wanted to give me a different room than the one booked. Very serious, unpleasant people. Swimming pool and sea far away from those in the photo. Overpaid for what they gave us

Room facilities management is not in place.

We always sleep very well in these rooms. This was our 3rd stay in the hotel. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, they always go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful stay. We did miss the water aerobics which used to take part in the mornings in previous years. The evening entertainment was hit and miss. The gentleman on the Thursday night being very much a high light of the stay. It was wonderful seeing people getting up and dancing to the traditional music. Our family would love to have watched more or even have an opportunity to learnt the traditional dancing . If you are after a relaxing holiday this is the ideal place. With having the bus stops right outside to take you to either Larnaca, Protaras, or Ayia Napa a ticket from €1.50 -€4. If you don't want to travel the shops across the road are well stocked. Staying at the hotel and enjoying the beach or pool another added advantage to this hotel is that there isn't any extra deposits required for beach towels etc. Having a iron and ironing board in every room also a added bonus. Even on the balcony there is a metal clothes line available. The hotel is getting updated/modernised . Our room had minor issues in the bathroom, but it didn't effect our stay when you have such beautiful views. Another added advantage to this hotel is the security. Each floor level are covered by CCTV cameras and your door card only allows you to access your own floor. This hotel is good for all ages.

Thank you for a wonderful vacation! The view from the "inland and sea" room is beautiful - we saw the sunrise in the sea from the balcony! The staff is very kind - especially thanks to Anna from reception she explained everything and was very kind. The food is delicious (Petrino tavern was amazing) and drinks are very good. Highly recommended:)

The Staff , the food and the location was amazing. The facilities were also great and really enjoyed the pool bar and the walks on the sea front. The entertainment was fun especially Greek nights. Would highly recommend and I’ll be going back for my 4th year in a row next summer

We have enjoyed our annual family holidays at the Golden Bay hotel for the last three years and intend to return there every year for many years to come. I can't believe there is a better hotel in Cyprus. The service is amazing, the food is very good and all the facilities in the hotel are clearly 5 star. The only thing that lets the hotel down is the evening entertainment, which is now simply embarrassing.

We had our wedding in Golden Bay in July 2024, and put simply, we, and all of our guests who stayed at Golden Bay, had a wonderful stay! We planned our wedding remotely, communicating with Marios, Anthos and Natalia via email. They were quick to reply and to accommodate any requests we had. My partner and I visited the hotel only few nights before the wedding and confirmed everything discussed via email. For our wedding, we opted for a cocktail hour followed by the Irida set menu and a wedding cake, all prepared in Golden Bay. The chef accommodated for the dietary restrictions of our guests and thus served a revised Irida menu for some of them. The food was superb in taste but one or two courses were served a bit slower than what we would have liked. The almond vanilla wedding cake was truly the best I ever had ! We worked with the DJ (Mr. Pavlou), the florist (Mr. Nolas), and the photographer (Mr. Leonidas) recommended by the hotel and we were very happy with the results. The DJ accommodated our non-Cypriot music requests. The flowers and the wedding pictures were especially beautiful! We also worked with the very talented makeup artist Maria (instagram: mkaragiorgi_makeupartist). The hairdresser at Le Mars Spa did a commendable job with most of our guests; however, I would recommend that brides seek out hairdressers who specialise in wedding styles and have extensive experience in that area. The staff went above and beyond to cater to all of our requests and made our stay extra special, especially Anna and Patricia. The hotel manager was consistently available during breakfast and lunch buffets, checking that all customers are satisfied. The rooms (grande suite, standard and premium sea view rooms) were spacious, clean, well equipped. The breakfast and lunch buffets were very rich and tasted great. The staff during these buffets were meticulous with the orders and quick. The hotel is also located 20 minutes from Larnaka airport, 25 minutes away from Aya Napa and 45 minutes away from Nicosia. The hotel location, the outdoor and indoor pools, the beach, the bars and restaurants in the hotel made it easy for our guests to be entertained at all times. If we were to do this all over again, we would do things almost exactly the same way. Thank you to the Golden Bay team and staff for making our wedding unforgettable!

Stayed here 3 years in succession many years ago. It has since been updated with garden area extended out over the sea and more palm trees added. It justly retains its 5 star rating and is still the leader in customer care and comfort. It led the way in defeating the midnight beach towel placers by having reservation cards to place in a holder on the vacant umbrella pole of your choice of seating for your duration. The investments made in staff trains and exceptional cleaning standards remain. The front line supervision of the Restuarants was ever evident with the dawn to dusk presence of Shiavallis the Restaurants manager. The staff were well trained and kept smiling in their smart uniforms. Customer requests inevitably delivered! Pleased to find they invest in International Catering Trading with students from all over the globe. Our stay was refined, comfortable and cheerful with absolute comfort and cleanliness in our room and every where else in the hotel. It is clearly well managed by a team that takes its responsibilities most seriously and delivers to a high standard. We would highly recommend it.

Stayed her for approx 10 hours after our Jet2 flight had to return back to Larnaca, this necessitated a night stop, so the entire flight was put up into 3 hotels. This was one of them. We arrived at the hotel around 2am and unfortunately nothing was open in hotel or nearby, however there was a bottle of water in room which was very welcome plus tea/coffee for anyone wanting them. Considering there was a bus full of us, check in was surprisingly quick and efficient. We were given keycards with room number on, ours was 106 - we overlooked the back of the hotel, so were woken early with bins being emptied. Not an issue for us as we weren’t paying for it, but can’t say I’d be too happy if I was paying for a stay this side of the hotel. Didn’t use pool as we were being collected at midday. Main pool looked very luxurious, smaller pool with bridge on first glance, looked great until you saw black mould in grouting. Not what you’d expect from an ex Sentido hotel. Beachfront location was great, we had a little wander after breakfast (which was absolutely fine), the beach was a bit of a let down after Protaras/Pernera and there was rubbish floating along the waters edge, which was a little off putting. Not much in and around the hotel, so I’d say unless you like being out of the way, it’s not the place for you. It was fine for our short stay but not somewhere I’d personally want to holiday, primarily due to location. That said, it sure as heck beat a night in the airport, which could have happened, so very grateful.

We had an amazing experience at the hotel. The negative reviews are not not that accurate in my opinion. Cleaning was perfect Breakfast food was very delicious and they had many options. Even gluten free. The pool is amazing (yes it does show in the pic that it’s bigger but thats how marketing works ;) They gave us complementary wine twice and fruits. They also have yoga classes Mondays and Fridays. So that was amazing as well. Have a great trip everybody and always try to look at the brighter side of things ❤️

We had a great week at the Golden Bay Beach Hotel and would book it again at any time. The location, right by the sea, is really beautiful. You can also enjoy the view of the pool and sea with every meal from the terraces. We found the food very delicious and varied, which is often not the case after a week in the same hotel. But we were particularly impressed by the kindness and hospitality of the whole staff. Special thanks to Josè at the bar, who looked after us very nicely, to Liza at the restaurant, who was so warm and sweet, and to Marios C. who took care of us so kindly and helped us with all other matters and questions to make our stay perfect. Otherwise, the entire hotel complex is well maintained and quiet, offering every comfort we needed for our stay to fully relax. There are enough sun beds in the pool area, which you can reserve for the whole week with a green card. We found this particularly great because it saves you from searching for space every day and you don't have to lie too close to each other. The rooms aren't super modern, but they're perfectly fine since you hardly spend any time in them anyway. However, there are also different room categories, which of course can differ in terms of equipment and comfort. We enjoyed it very much and would have loved to stay a little longer. Looking forward to next time. :-)
