We stayed in a room upstairs with a great view for 4 nights. We had a great balcony with a beautiful view. Of the ocean. It was really relaxing and we had a great time. We will definitely return and stay in the same room. The staff were really great from the moment we arrived. They helped organise a couple of side trips and organised our transport back to the airport when we left.

We stayed at The Haven for 4 nights. While we were there we ate every meal, breakfast, lunch and dinner at Big Tree. Every meal we had was great. All the meals I had were Vietnamese cuisine but my family had lots of the western offerings like, pizza, pasta and burgers which always looked great too. I stole quite a few pieces of pizza from my daughter and they were particularly good.

We were there for three or four nights and had the Hoa room upstairs which was spacious and private, with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the bay. We ate all our meals at the bistro. We chose breakfast included and there was a great selection. The international and Vietnamese food was delicious. I had early walks on the beach every day, visited the fishing village Haven is set in, and we enjoyed hanging out in the library/recreation room. We’re a mature couple, and Haven staff were super helpful in booking our train to Danang, and ensuring we were there in time.

We were so looking forward to coming here for the beautiful location but that’s about where it ended. Our meals were terrible!!! We got the Spaghetti bolognese, chicken wings, pork and steak and unfortunately they were all terrible! The steak was inedible, pure hard fat and no meat and had a butter knife to cut it up which was impossible. Service was not the best, had to go up to order on twice as we could not get their attention even thou it was so quiet. Location is amazing which is why I gave 2 stars. Would not return.

The Haven ought to be renamed Heaven, because it is just that - utterly heavenly. It’s in a glorious situation, at the end of a longish cove, which is basically a fishing village. The coracles are lined up and go out at dawn and again near sunset to bring back the seafood for which Bãi Xép is rightly famous. This was my second stay. The first was in 2021, during the Tết holiday in Vietnam, and they managed to fit us in at a difficult time, with Covid reappearing. In February/March, the sea can be stormy, but on calm days it’s as good as it was in August, for my second visit. The staff are wonderfully helpful and love to chat. The food is fine but the ambience and the views are why I will go back there again and again. My favourite heavenly retreat in all of Vietnam.

Haven Vietnam is a truly unique gem, positioned right on the foreshore of Bei Xep beach. It’s is the perfect place to stop and unwind and enjoy the relaxed nature of this place. I spent three nights in room 7 CAT. It is perfect for a couple or solo traveler with arguably the best view from any room at Haven. It’s decor was simple but very clean and fresh. The meals available here are very reasonably priced. I chose only Viet dishes and can highly recommend the Green Mango Salad with Prawn, the Lemongrass Chili Chicken and the Tamarind Chicken…ngon wa!! I chose to make the most of the accommodation and location and didn’t venture far except to explore the adjacent fishing village and the main Bei Xep village. Choose this place for the most relaxed experience at the right price. Thanks very much to Thanh for his helpful nature and advice. I cannot wait to return.

Beautiful location, comfortable beds, great food In restaurant and the staff were lovely. It was a beautiful place to stay and prices were so cheap….I would go back in a heartbeat in fact one of the best places I stayed in Vietnam.
