Amazing location next to the water falls and rice fields. Rooms were gorgeous with the balcony where we could sit down and watch the birds and listen to the water drinking a cup a tea. Staff from checking to checkout were amazing and very helpful. To mention a few names of staff who went above and beyond to help us were Sadaruwan chef. He made us some authentic srilankan dishes as well superb western dishes we wanted.Thank you for those yummy dishes. Rosantha and Nilantha such helpful and caring staff who were there to help us in any way they can. Thank you very much to both of you. Also can’t forget the manager Priyantha who up graded us to a chalet as our travel agent booked us a wrong chalet. Thank you Priyantha for handling the situation well. We are very impressed with the service we received from all your staff. We wished we stayed longer in your beautiful hotel. We will be definitely back. Thank you all again, Nalini and family🩷

Glenrock is truly a gem nestled amidst breathtaking landscapes. During our stay at the end of March 2024, we were captivated by the mesmerizing views of mountains and paddy fields, creating a picturesque setting that felt straight out of a postcard. The gentle flow of the Balihuloya stream added a serene soundtrack to our stay, enhancing the tranquil ambiance. We opted for the family villa cabana C4, and it exceeded our expectations. The panoramic view of the mountains and river from our cabana was simply spectacular. The private river access was a delightful bonus, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature at our leisure. The service at Glenrock was commendable, with special thanks to Lahiru for his attentive and courteous assistance throughout our stay. However, it was disappointing that the hotel did not mention the credit card offer during the booking process, missing an opportunity for guests to avail themselves of potential benefits. But after contacting many people they finally sorted it out. While our overall experience was positive, we did encounter a few issues. There was a noticeable odor, reminiscent of a decomposing rodent, within our room, which detracted from our comfort. Additionally, upon arrival, we found the bath tab only half-filled and noticed insects in the water, raising hygiene concerns. Although explanations were provided upon inquiry, it left us feeling uneasy. On a brighter note, the Sri Lankan cuisine served at Glenrock was a culinary delight. From the flavorful pol roti to the delectable pancakes, each dish was a delightful exploration of local flavors, leaving our taste buds thoroughly satisfied. In conclusion, despite encountering some minor setbacks, our stay at Glenrock was a memorable retreat into nature's embrace. The stunning surroundings, coupled with warm hospitality and delicious cuisine, made for an unforgettable experience. We would certainly consider returning to this idyllic heaven in the future.

An eco friendly hidden place in Belihuloya. Best place to stay and have some quality time with family and friends while enjoying the wonder of nature. The location is right next to the Belihul Oya and the staff will guide you to the Pahanthudawa waterfall as well. Very friendly staff and the food was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a stay that brings you inner peace. Thanks Dilrangi

This is a wonderful place. Set in nature, there are birds and animals all around. The staff are incredibly helpful. The food is really nice. There are many activities that can be done, or you can just chill in the pool or the river. We could have easily stayed for a week and enjoyed it as a base for discovering this wonderful part of the country. Shout out to Dumi for organising things so well.

Fantastic.. stopover on the way to Ella.. it was a rainy day but it’s different.. Well equipped large cabana type room very cleaned & perfect overlooking the branch of Belihuloya.. Staffs were very polite & provided us what we need.. if you are a nature lover definitely you must visit this place.. No time to spend more otherwise definitely stay one more night.. They shown actual Srilankan hospitality even though we are local guests…

We stayed at Glenrock for two nights and it was perfect. From the beginning they had gathered everything and delivered it to make our stay comfortable. We really enjoyed the resort specially the room which we stayed. It was overlooking the river with two stories and rooms are very spacious. The most amazing part is the staff they are very helpful and friendly. Specially the boys who went extra mile to arrange our meals in several places. The experience was amazing and the Sri Lankan rice and curry at Glenrock is the best. I suggest for anyone to try sri lankan rice and curry wrapped by a banana leaf which is next level. The surrounding and the hotel soothes you in many ways if you really looking forward to stay somewhere calm and quite. A huge thank you for the manager who is always there to help us and to the boys at the restaurant who delivered a great service for us and also to the culinary team as well as to the boy who took us the village tour. Thank you very much for adding a great value for our honeymoon.

We stayed two nights here and their service was excellent!! Staff is so friendly and food is delicious. The location is so dreamy surrounded by beautiful mountains. We are certainly be going back again. Would highly recommend for everyone!!

We stayed two nights at Glenrock with my family. Lovely surrounding of nature. Staff and the management is friendly & corporative. Different varieties of food was served and they were fresh & delicious. Food is prepared in a modern kitchen with hygienic conditions. "Tranquility , serenity & beauty of nature taught us how to find happiness in life"

We stayed in penthouse.This room has a hospital ambience with green curtains ( lacks taste). Not a penthouse even though it named as penthouse. This room is overpriced.Food is average. Geezer didn’t work and we had to use cool water ( just imagine).No proper instructions were given at the Check-in and we had to call several times to reception for everything. ( WiFi password, no hot water, no extra towels etc). Not worth the price.
