We stayed in Poseidonia for a week in the middle of June. I absolutely loved the experience we had for the price we paid! The hotel is in a main rode so there are always taxis passing by and buses that take you to the city centre so it's very handy, the bus that goes to the airport stops near the hotel so from the airport to the hotel it was only a 2 euro ticket. There is an ATM, restaurants, supermarkets a couple of minutes walking from the hotel so it's very handy and you can find anything you want (sunblock, food, shoes, swimming equipment, souveniers and etc.). The beach is across the street, you only have to walk around 3 minutes to get to a part of the beach where there are sunbeds (we paid 6 euros for each sunbed for the whole day). The beach is not sandy, it has rocks/pebbles so make sure you bring flipflops or swimming shoes (you can buy them in the supermarket beside the hotel) because it's painful to walk barefooted! We were in the hotel with an all inclusive board, so we had breakfast/lunch/dinner most of the days and we liked the food, there is plenty of options (fruits, salad bar, desserts, coffee/fizzy drinks/apple and orange juice, and enough hot food options). We can't complain about the food, it was enough for our liking and the restaurant is well organized and clean. We could have as much as we liked for drinks, including beer, vodka, rum, ouzo and some cocktails. There are lots of options of things to do in the receptions, like day trips, boat trips and etc. I would definitely recommend checking it and going for a boat trip day, we did it and it was awesome! The hotel staff is amazing, Dimitri and Dimitri from the pool bar are AWESOME and very polite! We had an excellent time and we were always greeted with a smile, the cleaning staff is amazing, the hotel is quite big and was always very very clean (we would walk around the hotel at 7am and could see the cleaning staff cleaning the whole place everyday). Our room was cleaned everyday, they changed the towels and bed linen everyday and it was really good to always come back to a clean room after a tiring day! There are a few pools and they are very family oriented, there was a lot of children playing around during the day and it seemed like they were having the time of their lives. There are enough sunbeds around the pool area but make sure you wake up early and put a towel in the sunbed because it gets quite busy. Every night, except from Sunday there is some sort of entertainment (Greek dance, karaoke night, live music and etc.) either in the pool area or in the restaurant so it was good fun, we enjoyed it very well! But I have to admit that it must get noisy for the people staying in the bottom floor apartments so I suggest asking for a room on the 3rd floor or above to be safe! The room is not super edgy or futuristic, the furniture is simple but there was a tv, a dressing table, the bathroom has a bathtub and it's spacious and very well cleaned, there was a smal
