We stayed here for a week late September and absolutely loved our time in Rhodes. The highlights of the hotel are easily the staff and the food. All the people were wonderful and friendly, we always felt welcomed and appreciated by the restaurant staff at every meal time and I couldn't fault their service. They always made an effort to greet us and made themselves available to help and chat with us if we needed anything. They were all lovely, special shoutout to the lovely ladies on breakfast who were always smiling and helped us learn some Greek to see us through our time on the island! :D We stayed half board and absolutely loved the food! There was plenty of variety and we got to try loads of beautiful Greek food. I'd say there was something for everyone - different Greek specialities on the evening buffets, plus your standard chips and more basic food if you're not into trying new and better things... We arrived late in teh evening and we were given a plate of food with things like meat slices, cheese, bread to see us through until the morning. If I had to be picky I'd say the room was a bit dated, but it definitely wasn't bad - we had a comfy bed and the room was clean on arrival. It has a small kitchen area which we didn't use at all for food prep, because we didn't need to. It had basic dishes, cutlery etc. It could all have done with a good clean, but we could have sorted that out if we needed to use any of it. We don't feel the need to have our room cleaned every day so only took the 'do not disturb' off the door a couple of times. Our bed was made lovely, clean towels, bathroom cleaned, but the floor wasn't swept which was a bit of a downside because my bonce sheds hair like it's going out of fashion. We prefer sea swimming and were too busy for sunbathing so didn't use the pool area at all really, but it all seemed nice and popular and it was always buzzing throughout the day. The pool bar was nice and we had a few drinks there and played pool. There was often entertainment at the pool bar in the evenings which also seemed popular, particularly the karaoke. We had a pool view room and probably would avoid this if we visited again, just because we're day birds and it could be a bit noisy in the nights as the pool bar was pretty much right below our balcony. The location was great, we loved Ixia! The beach is just a short walk away and there are plenty of shops and lovely restaurants on your doorstep. We walked the whole Ixia ***** at least once a day and never got bored of it. It's close enough to Rhodes Town to get there quickly on a bus or in a taxi, and if you want to go further afield there are loads of places near the hotel to rent a car or book some excursions. The reception also had lots of info and were ready to help with any of this. On the whole we loved the hotel, it was perfect for us, and would definitely look to stay again if we go back to Rhodes. We were super grateful to all the staff we met, and were gutted

We were nicely surprised when we first got there and saw the several pools. The appartment we got however has seen much better days and is really outdated. The kitchen did not even contain basic things such as a proper knife, kitchen towels, dishwashing soap or other things that we got in all other appartments in Greece. The worst part however was the cleanliness. I don't think they ever swept the floor and the whole room was dirty, especially beneath the bed. There was dust everywhere. We made the best of our stay and were lucky we did not pay so much. We would definitely not stay there again.

We stayed in Poseidonia for a week in the middle of June. I absolutely loved the experience we had for the price we paid! The hotel is in a main rode so there are always taxis passing by and buses that take you to the city centre so it's very handy, the bus that goes to the airport stops near the hotel so from the airport to the hotel it was only a 2 euro ticket. There is an ATM, restaurants, supermarkets a couple of minutes walking from the hotel so it's very handy and you can find anything you want (sunblock, food, shoes, swimming equipment, souveniers and etc.). The beach is across the street, you only have to walk around 3 minutes to get to a part of the beach where there are sunbeds (we paid 6 euros for each sunbed for the whole day). The beach is not sandy, it has rocks/pebbles so make sure you bring flipflops or swimming shoes (you can buy them in the supermarket beside the hotel) because it's painful to walk barefooted! We were in the hotel with an all inclusive board, so we had breakfast/lunch/dinner most of the days and we liked the food, there is plenty of options (fruits, salad bar, desserts, coffee/fizzy drinks/apple and orange juice, and enough hot food options). We can't complain about the food, it was enough for our liking and the restaurant is well organized and clean. We could have as much as we liked for drinks, including beer, vodka, rum, ouzo and some cocktails. There are lots of options of things to do in the receptions, like day trips, boat trips and etc. I would definitely recommend checking it and going for a boat trip day, we did it and it was awesome! The hotel staff is amazing, Dimitri and Dimitri from the pool bar are AWESOME and very polite! We had an excellent time and we were always greeted with a smile, the cleaning staff is amazing, the hotel is quite big and was always very very clean (we would walk around the hotel at 7am and could see the cleaning staff cleaning the whole place everyday). Our room was cleaned everyday, they changed the towels and bed linen everyday and it was really good to always come back to a clean room after a tiring day! There are a few pools and they are very family oriented, there was a lot of children playing around during the day and it seemed like they were having the time of their lives. There are enough sunbeds around the pool area but make sure you wake up early and put a towel in the sunbed because it gets quite busy. Every night, except from Sunday there is some sort of entertainment (Greek dance, karaoke night, live music and etc.) either in the pool area or in the restaurant so it was good fun, we enjoyed it very well! But I have to admit that it must get noisy for the people staying in the bottom floor apartments so I suggest asking for a room on the 3rd floor or above to be safe! The room is not super edgy or futuristic, the furniture is simple but there was a tv, a dressing table, the bathroom has a bathtub and it's spacious and very well cleaned, there was a smal

Great family hotel. We chose all inclusive which is recommended. Good food for both breakfast, lunch and dinner with excellent variety. However, there are certain things that detract from giving full points 1. The hotel advertises that it has wifi, but the wifi coverage was poor and often nothing/zero 2. Very poor insulation from the front door. we often heard people walking past in the hallway, which was annoying at night 3. Most people have a smartphone or pad. The TV should have the option of reciving streamining from a smart device. In overall, great hotel with excellent staff and service.

The worst hotel management we have ever come across. Air con reported not working at night in a heatwave, fixed it after 6 days. Offered a meal as compensation!!!! Holiday ruined . Booked through Loveholidays, big big mistake. They must do the same management courses. Lies aplenty from the hotel, ignorance abounds from Loveholidays.

Rooms were not cleaned wery well. There was dust everywhere and bath tub was filthy. Breakfast was fine. Not very good variety but ok. There was only one pool for adults. Not so many sun beds. Tv did not work. Decoration was very simple, nonexistent. Bed was extremely hard. I would say it's 2 star hotel.

The hotel staff was friendly and we felt that we were taken care of. Food was amazing and the airconditioning was a lifesaver because the weather was so warm outside. Poseidonia had good sunbeds and pools to relax in and enjoy the sun.
