Yes, it was on the cheaper end for hotels, but I would not pay the price again. It is very near the tram stop, so it's easy to get into town, but I did not feel safe in the area. It was very deserted and eerie, and just did not have a good vibe going. In the hotel itself, the hallways and rooms were dark and seemed old and I was quite creeped out by everything, including the red curtains. The noise insulation is nonexistent; I was kept awake until 4 am by loud talking from the other rooms and some footsteps in the corridor, as well as outside. The floor/ceiling/walls are extremely thin, so you can track the movements of your upstairs neighbour. Fair warning, the hotel DOES NOT have a lift, so you will have to walk up the stairs with your luggage. Additionally, the cleanliness was not up to standard, with my quilt having dried blood on it, which was quite appalling. I would pay the difference to stay somewhere else, closer to the old town, too.
