Wangrun Hotel

The room felt a bit dated, having been renovated in 2012, giving off a vibe of an early 2000s mainland 3-star hotel. The main issues were an unpleasant smell from the bathroom and a carpet that looked unkempt due to being hard to clean. On the positive side, the hotel's location is excellent, with Tashilhunpo Monastery visible right from the window. The Western-style breakfast was decent. Overall, the value for money is pretty good.

Excellent value for money.

The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities and attentive, warm service. Crucially, it's incredibly close to Tashilhunpo Monastery, just a few minutes' walk away. There's also a ******* restaurant right outside that was really delicious. I ordered potato buns and grilled beef, along with a small pot of sweet tea. The food and tea were both wonderful! 😁 There was also a performance while I ate, listening to ******* songs. Although I couldn't understand them, I enjoyed the experience immensely. 🙂🙂

Facilities: Fully equipped Hygiene: Clean and tidy Environment: Convenient access, very close to the temple Service: Excellent The hotel is located next to Tashilhunpo Monastery, making it very convenient and quiet. The breakfast selection is extensive.

To be fair, it's very close to Tashilhunpo Monastery and Dzong, with a pedestrian street right outside and plenty of restaurants nearby, which is very convenient; however, the corridors are quite noisy at night, so I'd choose a different room type next time.

The Tibetan-style courtyard was lovely, quiet and comfortable without any noise, and offered a fantastic view with a clear view of Tashilhunpo Monastery. The two ladies at the front desk were also incredibly warm and attentive, with excellent service. My stay was outstanding, a truly five-star experience! Highly recommended! Thank you! ☺️

The hotel is located inside Xigezi Pedestrian Street. Outside, the street is bustling with traffic, but just around the corner is the quiet hotel entrance and courtyard. The hotel environment is like a small garden, but the landscaping seems poorly maintained and needs improvement! We were upgraded to a room in the new building, but the room was particularly small; it was difficult to walk around with a suitcase open. The facilities were acceptable, but the toilet seat was broken. A clean and quiet environment is what travelers hope for every day. We appreciate the good service from the hotel staff, who promptly helped resolve any issues.

This long-established four-star hotel, located just a wall away from Tashilhunpo Monastery, boasts ample space between buildings, a large parking lot, comprehensive facilities, and newly renovated, clean, and hygienic rooms. Experience authentic local life.

The hotel is spacious with convenient parking and a large, separate courtyard divided into several areas. It's adjacent to Tashilhunpo Monastery, offering a pleasant environment. Recommended for business and family travel.
