Hotels near Villa Anguissola-Scotti in Rivergaro

I have stayed inthis hotel quite a few times, and have always enjoyed the services that correspond to what I usually expect when going to a Best Western hotel. Last time was still overall satisfactory but I have noticed some details which demonstrated lower standards than usual (empty minibar, no complimentary slippers, no bathroom set). These are details and I imagine that the Covid19 period can explain reduced services, but I hope that in a near future they will rise up to their usual standard. Great experience however at the restaurant, where we had a great dinner ; even if the menu offered liited choice, the quality of what was proposed was beyond what we had expected.

Struttura molto particolare ubicata a Gazzola di Rivalta in un edificio storico al centro del borgo. Il borgo è pedonale e l'auto si parcheggia in un piazzale alle spalle dell'hotel che si raggiunge tramite una corta scalinata. Tutta la struttura è arredata in stile e così anche la nostra camera, la n. 1, forse un po' piccola anche per via dei mobili massicci. Il bagno, fortunatamente, non è in stile, ma moderno e pulito, dotato di tutto il necessario. Poiché, curiosamente, eravamo gli unici ospiti della struttura, non possiamo sbilanciarci sull'insonorizzazione della stanza: certo è che, in un hotel da soli, non c'è alcun rumore. Per lo stesso motivo non possiamo esprimerci sulla colazione. Abbiamo ordinato la sera e la mattina ci hanno fatto trovare tutto quello che avevamo scelto, di ottima qualità, anche se forse le uova le avremmo preferite più.... strapazzate! All'interno del borgo, piccolissimo, ci sono 3 ristoranti, dei quali uno annesso all'hotel. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Consigliato

Having read some of the reviews here, I must say I was slightly nervous about our stay. There was no need to worry at all..this is a really nice hotel. Ok I take the point that it is slightly shabby and could do with some TLC but the bedroom we were allocated was huge and very clean. The breakfast is great, plenty of choice and, without exception, the staff are lovely, a big thank you to the lovely young woman on reception with perfect English. The location is also good with a huge choice of restaurants and shops on your doorstep. We were really happy with or stay and would not hesitate to stay again.

Well located, convient parking, modern structure, rooms not very big but has everything necessary, very clean, quiet as well as cordial and pleasant personnel. No restaurant in the hotel but many close by, even a pizzeria at the foot of the hotel.

The hotel is located in a quiet small town. It should belong to a homestay. It is very clean and the proprietress is very enthusiastic. It changed our impression that the Italians were not enthusiastic at all when we first arrived in Italy. There are fewer restaurants in the town, and there is one in Wenzhou Chinese restaurants run by people feel expensive, there are many small supermarkets, you can buy food, you can park for free on the roadside, and there are extra small beds in the room. Because it is a self-driving car, I don’t pay much attention to the traffic. The overall feeling is better than the few living in the back Good hotel

Per soggiornare una sola notte va benissimo, è una struttura dotata di servizi essenziali, situata a due passi dalla stazione dei treni, e offre una piacevole colazione con brioche, succo, toast e fette biscottate con burro e marmellata. Inoltre, è molto agevole comunicare con la struttura, mi hanno fornito tutte le informazioni per girare per le piazze di Piacenza. Tuttavia, la struttura presenta delle pecche dovute probabilmente a una scarsa manutenzione, poichè avvertivo un forte odore di muffa nella stanza e ho trovato zanzare. ps: wifi da migliorare.

Perfect in almost every sense. We travelled back from Ancona to the UK and the location, just off the Autostrade, is ideal & much more convenient than Reggio Emilia where we have stayed on the same journey for the last 15 years ! The large secure parking area is a real benefit when travelling with a boat trailer. All staff are very helpful & welcoming and the rooms spacious and very clean..We enjoyed dinner in the hotel which was good quality & value. The buffet breakfast has a fair selection too . We have just booked for our trip next July
