TLDR: SCAM, they gave us a room in Via Bu Meliana 12. The sign outside our door was for Vatican Planet, an accommodation with 1-star rating. Meaning false advertisement. 1. The room they gave us was in a different location, outdated and with a different bed layout. Significantly different from what is described in the pictures. We booked for two king beds, but they have us a double bed with three single beds for kids. You can see same complaint in other comments as well. (Photo attached with the layout they gave us) 2. We never saw a host on-site. The keys were picked up from a nearby shop. We were charged a late charge fee of €20, but no host was on site. 3. The host was completely aware of the situation and had no interest in fixing this issue. They told us they didn't have more rooms to give us, but they were completely fine to downgrade us. 4. The amenities were of a poor quality. The safe was not working, and the aircon and the fridge barely worked.

They cancelled my reservation a week before we were supposed to check in and i booked it 4 months prior to this. Very disappointed in their way of handling the situation! They send me a cryptic badly written mail that said something a long the lines of "no more beds, sorry, you can get money back for free". If they had sent this message right after I had booked I might have been okay with it, but a week before check in is just not acceptable:(. Now im going to rome next week without a sure place to stay.

They didn't give me the room I had booked.. but a bad one and in another building. Instead of 2 king size beds there was a double and a bunk bed. Horrible carpet on the floor and the bidet was missing in the bathroom! The cleaning lady welcomed us .. no document check !! A nightmare!

Strategic place, quiet, convenient for the various tourist attractions …. but the cleaning is received only before booking and the towels are not changed before the 3 days of accommodation. In room 4 there is no shower cubicle but an unhygienic curtain, and rubbish in the bathroom had already been broken since our arrival. Overall you can find better.

The area is quite good but with a lot of hustle and bustle. The hotel; Horrible. The beds very uncomfortable and the room full of ants all over the room. We stayed 4 nights and they didn't even bring paper to the bathroom, nor did they change the trash basket. The only thing worth it was the coffee shop on the corner.
