The hotel is perfect at first glance. Great service, clean rooms, the morning sunrise view from the balcony is indescribable. There is a kettle and cups in the room, but there is no coffee or tea, which you have to bring from downstairs. The food is a huge minus, frozen food and frozen food. Unfortunately, my child ate French fries for a week. Maybe it was better because the quality of frozen products was not that great either. Only the cakes were ok. Moldy fruit on a tray... The biggest minus and why I will never come back to this hotel is that we went for a mini breakfast at 4 a.m. before departure. I wanted to make toast because there was nothing else, but there were cockroaches everywhere! Food should be secured if there is such a problem. It's an unpleasant situation when you pick up bread and there is a cockroach on it. There were more of them on the countertops. If it weren't for this early breakfast, I probably wouldn't even know about them. Oh, and I was there at the end of the season and unfortunately most of the alcohols were not available in the bar during the last few days.

The location is perfect, loads of things to do around the local area, the beach to the left of the hotel is one the best I have seen.our room was gorgeous all modern and a check out on the last day 12pm the all inclusive drinks 5* the entertainment was great live bands 3 times a week the only negatives food bit repetitive and no snack bar would definitely return again.

Im on my 3rd day here. Got a 4 day holiday with loveholidays for £250pp all inclusive flights and transfers. The value of this holiday is outstanding. The hotel is kept very clean. Staff very helpful and polite. Our room as pictured. For me and two teenage sons is great however the sofa bed is not comfy its hard. Apart from that the room is perfect. Clean and shower nice and hot. Balcony looks over pool and sea its beautiful. Other balconies are very close so u can meet your neighbours lol. The location of this hotel is perfect. There is a locked door you use your room key from the pool area directly onto the beach. To the right of that there is a cycle hire shop. We have used this twice now. The red cycle path is 12km in total will take you on a lovely safe ride passing many bars and resturants. The first part takes you away from the beach then you come back onto ride along the beach. The beaches are stunning light sand and clear water. Back at the hotel i have found the pool becomes shaded in the afternoon from the hotel. This could be a blessing if boiling hot. However if you want full sun just step onto the beach. The food is adequate and i wouldnt want to eat here for a week just because the only meat i eat is chicken. Its a shame the mixed salads and pizza has ham on them as for vegetarians it is limited. Lunch time i quite often eat poatoes and salad. Its all lovely and fresh. For the price ive paid im happy to eat out aswell. The all inclusive is great for two teenage boys that can eat 2 or 3 plates full and still go out for a pizza 🤣. The bar drinks are great you only get plastics around the pool. Otherwise served in a glass. They have 4 cocktails on tap. Ive tried 3. Love on the beach was strong. Pina colada tequila sunrise delicious. Soft drinks on tap help yourself. They also offer you more than 1 drink at a time. Theres a cute little dance routine about 8.30pm which is good for under 7s they get the kids running about and the outside entertainment area is nice and clean overlooking the pool and beach you can also dine out here. The hotel has a good atmosphere. Plenty of people. Ive not seen any party ***** or liveliness so if your young wanting to party i do not recommend you would be disappointed. For young familys and couples wanting a relaxing time its great.

Very nice hotel especially for a 3 star. Room was lovely, big and clean. beds were comfortable. Room had a fridge, hair dryer, and plenty of plug sockets. good amount of storage. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Pool area is nice but shady in the early afternoon, Sun beds need updating as they are fixed in position and are not adjustable, but there appeared to be plenty for all. Bar area is nice but not enough seating for everyone to sit outside which was a little disappointing if you want to sit outside in the evening to have a drink and relax and enjoy the weather. Nice beach and shops near by. Food was okay, but a bit repetitive and unimaginative after a few days, but well cooked, and plentiful. Evening entertainment was awful to be honest, out of a 9 night stay they had one parrot show which was boring, and three bands (2 of which were okay) other than that it was bingo. Who ever books the entertainment needs sacking as it was very bad. The hotel next door had much better entertainment and all appeared to be really enjoying it, up dancing and singing etc. Hotel had free wifi in the main reception / bar area but you have to pay to use it in your room (don't bother paying for it as it is rubbish and not worth paying for as it doesn't work efficiently, and your wasting your money). Would I return - YES!

We left the hotel after we saw the room that we booked: everywhere was mold, many parts of the rooms needed urgent renovation. The smell in the room was unbearable. People at the reception are rude, absolutely do not want to help. I would like to mention Melanie from the reception: I never saw such an aggressive person who does not like people and does not want to help people at all. Pilar at the reception was also very passive and does not show any willingness to change the room. The hotel is in a and condition, and a very, very old one.

Payed £1600 for two adults all inclusive for ten nights ,booked with on the beach which included flights and transfers. All of the staff were very polite and the hotel was very clean. The rooms were very good and we had a great sea view.Food and drinks were what to expect for a 3 star.soft drinks self serving which is a good idea.Around the pool needs attention some of the floor need levelling as there is some bad trip hazards and the sun beds could need replacing. All in all a good hotel for a 3 star.

3rd time staying here with the family. Perfect location with a sandy beach either side of hotel . To the left is sa coma beach & to the right is Sillot beach . We stayed in 1 bedroom apartment which was clean and spacious with an amazing view.. I think all rooms have sea views. Lots of people seem to complain about the food which I really don’t understand as it was pretty decent for price we paid but did get a bit repetitive during the 2nd week. Overall we love this hotel it’s very laid back and in the perfect location . The only reason it’s not a 5* review is the entertainment can be pretty poor & is often drowned out by next door hotel & the sun loungers are very dated, not adjustable & need replacing. That said we are looking to book again next year.

October 2022 (UK Half term) 2 Adults 2 Children(age10) We really really enjoyed our stay here, A lovely clean and spacious hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Pool is lovely and clean, the pool area is a little 'worn' in places but still well looked after and clean Big rooms, comfy beds, always clean and tidy, food was great and plenty of choice for the week We loved the location, Fantastic views, plenty to do in the area, cycling, shops, walks, beach, boat trips etc. Couple of little downside for us... - Our fussy vegetarian children found very little variation in what they could eat! almost all dishes had meat/fish in (except the chips!!) but us 'not fussy adults' thought the food was wonderful! Maybe if the daily pasta / pizza dish could be vegetarian? this would add some variation for them. - The sunbeds were not the 'most comfortable' they do not adjust to sit up - Wish I'd realised this and took a cusion or something, but plenty of places around to buy something if needed. Things to note... Very few British at the hotel, definitely not a negative at all, but worth noting Pools towels are 5E for each fresh towel + deposit (many local shops stock beach towels for 5-10E each) There are not a huge number of sunbeds, plenty for this time of year and the hotel was not fuill, not sure how this would be peak season. The music / evening entertainment is loud and is on till 11pm (on the dot!) so not a hotel if you like an early night! Generally we rerally enoyed the entertainment, nothing to over the top, Kids Disco was fab, bit of Bingo, couple of bands/live music. Cleaning team start at 7am around the pool / bar area, if you have room close to / above the bar area you may find this an unwelcome wake up call. Whilst we were there the hotel opposite was closed for the season, as this is a large hotel, I'm not sure how the noise / number of people there would affect the atmosphere at the Playa Dorada, also another large hotel in Sa Coma was closed so again I guess fewer people in general in the area. Taxi from airport roughly £80 / 90E All in all, we had a fantastic holiday and will certainly look to come back to this hotel again.

We’ve just returned from a lovely week away at Hotel Playa Dorada with our 7 year old daughter. The main positives about the hotel: Location - there are 2 lovely sandy beaches a couple of minutes walk left or right. Rows of shops and some nice bars and restaurants nearby. Bike hire and water sport hire close by and also a place to go on a boat trip at Sa Coma. The views. Stunning sea views from I think all of the rooms, lovely to sit out on the balcony with a coffee in the morning. Food- the food was what you could expect from a 3* all inclusive hotel but cooked really well. It was slightly varied each night whilst always offering fish, lovely meat options and some fresh salad. If you have young fussy eaters like my child you might struggle but she enjoyed a week of chips and they usually had some form of breaded meat or fish with kids in mind and there was also pizza at lunch time which was really nice actually. Drinks - the alcohol on offer was not limited and really nice. Beer, sangria and wine on tap self serve and then cocktails and spirits served by the lovely bar staff. (Ask for a ‘special’ baileys! ) Pool - the pool is a massive plus. Warm and clean and by late afternoon is shady which was quite welcome in this heatwave. It’s not that big though so I think it could get very crowded mid summer. It was fairly quiet when we arrived (21st July) and got gradually busier over the week. If you go early morning or stay late in the afternoon / evening you get a lot more space. Never had to reserve a sun bed and it was nice not to have that scramble. There are lots of parasols and then stacks of beds you can get if these fill up. The biggest positive of the hotel has to be the staff. They work tirelessly and diligently and with a smile and a greeting for everyone whilst doing it. The restaurant staff look very smart and must be hot in their shirts and bow ties. But clear the tables quickly and efficiently and relay tables so quickly for the next load of guests. Bar staff funny, reception helpful and friendly. Everyone spoke English and appreciated us trying to speak a little Spanish. Cleaners are also friendly and clearly work very hard. At the end of each day us guests have moved and scattered the sun beds all around and when you come down for dinner they are magically uniform and neat again around the pool. They also spray and clean all the beds and poolside each night. They were all amazing and are a credit to the hotel. If you go make sure you leave a tip in the jars they have in the restaurant and on the bar! I think there were a couple of things that could improve the hotel. The beds were pretty hard. Especially the sofa bed for the child. Having said that we all slept ok so can’t be too bad. Noise! This is something out of the hotels control, our room was close the street and the bin men obviously work at night due to the heat so could hear lorries and glass bins being emptied early hours. Hotel next door had very loud and el
