Not a bad place to stay inside the walls. It is new and I think the only big hotel inside the walls.

We travel to St Malo often and this was by far the best hotel stay we have had. There were 7 couples traveling and we enjoyed the bar area where we could congregate during the day We love the central location as we could all wander off as we felt like as all was so accessible . The room was great and bed very comfortable , great pillows which are a must for me

We have stayed here three times this year and love it every time. Rooms are spacious and clean. Concierge is always helpful. Thank you - will be back!!

Despite my late arrival .. rapid access to wonderful room with excellent facilities … slept peacefully in very comfortable bed

The Golden Tulip was a beautiful hotel located right in the center of old St Malo. The room was very nice, the staff was very helpful and even gave us a restaurant recommendation that was the best meal we had in France. It was also right next to the old walls of the city which provided for a wonderful evening walk.

This hotel within the historic walled portion of St Malo was a great place to start our Brittany vacation. Relatively large rooms, very comfortable beds, and nice bathrooms. Walking within the walled city is hilly and over cobblestone streets so those with limited mobility would struggle. Would definitely recommend for those who don’t have physical limitations.

I had never stayed in a golden tulip hotel before, and I was so pleasantly surprised to find such a clean, comfortable, architecturally, pleasant new hotel. The rooms are done very smartly. No carpet beds can be raised by the housekeeper easily to clean under them, the fixtures in the room and furniture allow you to store your items easily And the rooms were bright and cheerful

A beautiful hotel in the centre of San Marlo and it’s many shops, restaurants and cafes. If driving you have to book one of their car parking spaces as parking is very limited in the area. Highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was great! Check-in was smooth. Reception staff was very detailed and personally helped opened the car park gate when we had difficulty finding the keypad. Room was clean and comfortable!
