I highly recommend this place! I would never have known about Maison Dodo or the Bergerac area if not for a family occasion. I stayed in the maison (there also are detached bungalows). My room was spacious, clean, beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast and dinner are optional and with additional cost, but I highly recommend taking advantage of these offerings. The closest restaurants open late, close after 2pm, and don't re-open until around 7pm. Not to mention, Chef Gaspare makes AMAZING, home-made, full-course meals that rival the best restaurants in the area. Overall, my experience at Maison Dodo was the most memorable during my trip. Don't hesitate. Book your room here because guaranteed space will be sold out! Merci pour tout, Mr. Gaspare!!!

Amazing dinner/chef who also runs the whole place in his spare time. Excellent room and dinner (my husband is vegetatian that is not easy in france!) - just remember to preorder dinner in advance it must be prebooked the night before or breakfasttime which we didnt know. Great pool too, although weather was poor in our visit. Nearby many wine chateaux so we did some wonderful tastings in the region

When I got there, I was told that the place was fully booked. Even though I have a booking confirmation. The ground looks very nice.

This is a wonderful find in the middle of the region near Bergerac. The rooms are lovely and well appointed. The host is wonderful and energetic. Very helpful. Loved the dinner!
