Great hotel in a great location. Staff is very attentive to your needs. Elevator could use a cleaning, bit the room was very nice. Roof top bar is fantastic. Short walk to all the atteactions. Some are literally next door.

The king studio room is unique and makes a great use of available space. Although some items related to fit and finish left a little to be desired all in all was an enjoyable stay. One complaint is with the heat running and sitting to watch tv it was very warm because you are sitting near the vents. Heat doesnt get down near the bed but it was not cold enough to need the heat running most of the night. The large windows that were on ground level were a little unsettling but the blinds fully covered them.

I love this boutique hotel. It is very conveniently located for when we visit family in Salem. The staff is quite friendly and accommodating. The room we stayed in was perfect for us and the hotel has a great vibe. We look forward to staying again in the future.

The only plus side at this hotel is great location in the middle of the town within walking distance to stores and restaurants/bars. The biggest downsides are limited parking locations (limited up to 4 hours and you cannot renew your parking spot again with the phone app twice unless you have other phone to make 2nd payment or use quarters), very lukewarm water in both sink and shower (not steaming hot enough), toilet door doesn’t even close at all, the cleaning staff arrived late after 3pm. Front desk staff aren’t that helpful on providing suggestions on where to get quarters or to provide quarters for the parking meters. I had to go across the street to CVS to get changes. Useless staff. Will not be staying this place again.

My experience at The Hotel Salem was excellent. Every aspect of my stay was great but I wanted to really highlight how great the location is. It is literally central to the vast majority of attractions in Salem. There is also a very good restaurant on the first floor which is very convenient.

Hotel located in a perfect place. Next to many restaurants and bars as well as quaint breakfast shops too. Quiet but right around the corner from everything happening. Only downside is there is no parking and hard to find parking for bigger vehicles.

Perfect location. Zach greeted us upon arrival and was friendly and helpful during our stay.

The Hotel itself was beautiful and clean. The staff was fantastic. The only issue I had with was the water pressure was terrible and it took forever for the hot water to come up. I also think snacks,coffee and tea should be available at all times for hotel guests.

Casual but neat vibe, excellent tub, excellent location. If you plan to shop/drop off your goods throughout your stay you won't do better.

Very quiet, staff was very helpful and friendly. Will be staying here the next time we travel to Salem.

The Hotel Salem staff, especially Zach, was so incredibly helpful with making reservations for us, holding our luggage after check-out, AND installing a smart TV during our stay because ours wasn’t working lol

Hotel is perfect location in Salem to easily walk to everything. The facilities were modern and the front desk staff was superb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great staff. Kayla is an outstanding employee! She made the stay all the better!

It was such a unique hotel … pretty upbeat with a great staff. Will definitely stay here again
