We had two rooms for a family of 5. My teen age girls loved their family room and our double room was excellent. The rooms were new, clean and had excellent fittings. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.Breakfast was outstanding. Laslo the breakfast chef produces an amazing buffet each morning and was very welcoming. Location had easy access to the bus. A wonderful place to stay.

Really smart and clean b&b only a 15min walk from the city centre and a 5min walk from Salzburg train station. Reception staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast service was excellent with a very chirpy gentleman supervising who made us a boiled egg when we asked for one, it seemed nothing was too much trouble. Whoever makes the egg frittatas needs an award - they were incredible! I wish I could have taken some home or asked for the recipe. Shower in room was dreamy with excellent water pressure. Only thing stopping me giving 5 stars was the mattresses. They're rock hard. I didn't sleep very well and at first couldn't work out why I couldn't get comfortable and I soon realised it was the solid mattresses. Also only one very thin pillow each was provided. We did ask for additional pillows which they provided, but you should be given two as standard because they're very thin.

We stayed in Salzburg as part of a 2 week tour of Germany and Austria. The Villa Flockner was definitely one of the better hotels we stayed in. The location is perfect - 10 minute walk from the train station, 15 minute walk from the Mirabel Palace. And Salzburg is a great city for walking. Our room was fine - two single beds aligned vertically to make the most of the room dimensions. What we liked was the huge amount of storage space in our room - plenty of shelving to put all your travel bits and pieces. We found out that the owner had architected the rooms herself. Finally, a special mention to Laszlo (apologies for any mispelling of his name), the breakfast chef. The breakfast was sooo tasty - the best on our trip. And, Laszlo was, as others have mentioned, incredibly attentive to everyone and super polite - what a nice guy!

We loved our stay at Villa Flöckner; speaking German was unnecessary. Room 16 is large and has a great balcony if you can get it! Right upon arrival, the woman at the front desk asked if we'd been to Salzburg before, and drew on the map for us, making suggestions for our short stay. She was right, dinner at the Sternbräu beer garden was excellent, great service and food (Nackerln!) A real high point was the breakfast, the chef Laszlo was attentive to all guests and clearly took pride in the great food he made. 2 thumbs up for the Kräuter palats*****en (savory spinach crepe!)

Nice bed and breakfast ideally located close to Salzburg HBF, great for if you are going on day trips. Maybe not so great if you want to go to the centre but we were happy to walk 25 minutes and you can easily get a taxi/bus. Rooms were very modern and clean, smart TV, firm but comfortable bed and very spacious. Owner very friendly and clearly cared about the property and service. We also felt the room was of great value. We stayed in a few locations in Salzburg and this was certainly the most comfortable stay and one we'd happily return to when in Salzburg in the future. Thank you.

This bed and breakfast was simply the best!! The building was converted from an old apartment building and remodeled into the beautiful new place it is now. They opened in August 2021 so everything was new and smelled clean. We opted for the largest suite at the very top with a balcony. WOW! It was SO worth it! We were out there a lot to enjoy the beautiful, clean air and the views. We arrived in Salzburg a little early to the normal check-in time. But after contacting the staff they met us there and got us all checked in without an issue. The manager was SO nice and we spoke with him several times during our stay there. After checking in we couldn't wait to see our big suite. It COMPLETELY exceeded expectations. The suite was SPOTLESS! We didn't see one spec of dirt or dust and it had been impeccably appointed. We had two large windows in the main part of the suite that fully opened. We had the windows open the entire stay as the weather was beautiful and mild. The stairs led to the tub/shower area and the door to the balcony. There was a w/c on the main floor of the suite with a toilet and sink. I can't emphasize enough how amazing everything was in the B&B in general and our suite. Each morning we woke up and went down to the breakfast room for a lovely breakfast. The breakfast included everything one would need to get the day started. There were a couple hot casserole type options and then all the usual continental-type foods with an awesome coffee/cappuccino machine that made various expresso beverages. Again, the breakfast room was spotless and there was a lady there to assist as needed. We took our time each morning to enjoy the breakfast before heading out. The location was on the other end of Salzburg from the main tourist areas which was great. We walked most of the time or took an Uber down to the main center when we were out sightseeing. Super each to get back and forth. I told my Husband that I would love to return to Salzburg again soon just to stay at the Villa Flockner and enjoy more quiet time. I can't speak highly enough of this location, the staff, the suite, and the food.

It is a villa divided (recently) into rooms. The one we had was of average size, with little storage space and decent bedding. The bathroom is of the same ilk: the lack of storage for storing your toiletry bag is notable, but the whole is very clean and the materials are of very good quality. The air conditioning is very efficient, and the double glazing provides good soundproofing. The villa is 5 minutes from the train station on foot, which is convenient. But the old town, the nerve center of Salzburg, is a 30-minute walk away (along the river, which can provide the opportunity for a lovely walk). The breakfast is careful, with good products. We were able to get our room earlier than expected, which was very beneficial. The welcome and the staff are very pleasant. The price seemed a little high for this service, but in Salzburg everything is expensive!

I stayed just one night in this small hotel not far from Salzburg station. Only one night but enough to get an idea of the excellent work of the manager. The structure looks good, it seems to have been recently renovated. The old town of Salzburg is not very close but can be reached with a pleasant walk of about 15 - 20 minutes. The rooms are modern, sufficiently spacious (they certainly are for one person but in the room where I stayed it would have also been adequate to accommodate two people), extremely clean. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfasts are really excellent and plentiful, with fresh, quality products. The friendly waiter is available to serve omelettes. Also noteworthy is the attention paid by Mr. Flöckner to his guests, as well as his courtesy and that of all the staff. However, I advise you to communicate your arrival time if you arrive after 6pm because the reception is no longer busy: no problem anyway, they will organize so that you can find the key. I therefore warmly recommend this structure as I recommend everyone to visit the splendid Salzburg.
