Location is perfect! They provide a hair dryer, body+hair wash along with body lotion, the gym is small but the view is amazing, good sized sauna, but they only have one hot tub. Staff were very friendly and helpful, cleaners were amazing! Would 100% recommend

Fantastic holiday , we are here now . Food is lovely weather is just perfect , when we arrived we were given a quadruple room ( jet2 told us this was a interconnected room) which cleary wasnt we arrived to a one bedroomed with bunk beds ( one daughter is 15!!!) , we contacted reception and the following morning we were given the interconnecting room reception were lovely so kind and so helpful. Room was absolutely immaculate and lceaned daily very very impressed, The gentleman that transports luggage to your room was ever so helpful carries all our luggage nothing is too much ask for them they all work hard and always helpful, would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to families we are having a lovely time and will definitely be back here .

My recent stay at this charming hostel was an absolute delight, and I am thrilled to share my wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that the staff's dedication to hospitality was exceptional. Bruno, the head of the bar staff, is a true gem. His attention to detail and warm demeanor made every interaction at the bar a memorable one. Bruno's passion for his craft truly shines through. Soraya and Bea were equally amazing. Their attentiveness and genuine care for the guests were truly heartwarming. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, providing insightful recommendations and always greeting me with a smile. The hostel itself is a haven of cleanliness. The housekeeping ladies are like fairy godmothers, tending to the rooms with an unparalleled level of precision. Walking into my room felt like stepping into a sanctuary, thanks to their meticulous work. Overall, my experience at this hostel was nothing short of exceptional. The dedication of the staff, including Bruno, Soraya, and Bea, combined with the meticulous housekeeping, created an atmosphere of warmth and comfort that made my stay truly memorable. Ignore all bad reviews !! We loved this hotel and the staff are so nice! Orlando couldn’t do enough to help. Rooms are clean and big, everything was safe in the room and not noisy. Food is good price and loads to choose from

We have just left Paradiso and got to say its been a fantastic hotel!! We have all loved our stay, loved the vibe, the pool, music, breakfast, staff, the list goes on! Would love to come back one day. Only issue was taxis but there is a good water taxi service just behind the hotel which was actually quite fun to get to cafe mambo.

staff were lovely, rooms were nice with a bed, fridge, on-suite bathroom and balcony. the pool was very small but adequate. the rooms were cleaned every day and there was a supermarket directly opposite (and lidl 15 mins walk away) which was very handy. the only complaint is that there was lots of noises and banging from inside the building-sounded like furniture being moved around? or maybe the lift making noises as my room was right next to the lift- this went on all throughout the night, every night which wasn't good if you are a light sleeper like me. the walls were thin and you could hear other guests and the road outside. apart from the noise, the hotel was lovely and in good location, only 10 minutes from the beach.

We were met by a very happy reception staff who was singing as we walked in the door - Victor if I remember correctly - and that set the scene for our whole stay. I cannot compliment the staff enough, from bellboy to reception to bar to kitchen and restaurant staff, cleaning staff, every single person we encountered was so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. It really made a difference to our stay. The location of the Palmyra is perfect, we stayed in the master suite as a treat for our 10 year wedding anniversary, and what a treat it was - what a room! The food choices every day were excellent and everything was fresh and prepared with care and a smile. The inclusive drinks list was more than sufficient for us too. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will certainly be returning in the future.

Beautiful hotel, lovely food and nice staff, spotlessly clean and very modern, certainly worth 4 stars. We stayed for 2 weeks from the end of Sept/start of October. We upgraded to a sea view room which had spectacular views across the bay (4th floor)  so was well worth the extra money. Saying that, the garden rooms also had nice views and had the afternoon/evening sun. Rooms have hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel and soap dispensers. The larger pool at the front is definitely for the younger crowd, loud music all day but the quiet pool on the sea front  provides an escape if you need a more relaxed atmosphere. However, the quiet pool is not monitored by staff and there are countless people constantly trying to sell you handbags, sunglasses, watches, towels etc.... they are absolutely relentless and even enter the hotel gate and walk around  the pool area pestering everyone. There are only so many times you can ignor them before their rudness and noisey chants of 'very good, very cheap' riles you.  On one occasion, I got one of the staff from reception to come and speak to the most noisy offender and ask that he refrain from entering the hotel gate... but instead he just stood on the other side of the rope fence shouting to guests and making a complete nuisance of himself. It's a shame as that's the only massive negative about this hotel and appreciate it's difficult to solve...perhaps a key entry on the gate? Ultimately the lack of security for guests at the quiet pool is a bit un-nerving. Most days we took ourselves off to the beach which is a 20 second walk from the quiet pool... great for swimming with lots of fish! To the left of the hotel there is another beach a few minutes walk along the costal path (watch out for the lizards🦎). There is also a water taxi across the bay from this beach for 4 euros each way. There was an odd mix of guests and I think the hotel has a bit of an identity crisis as its attempts to cater to the young clubbers, families and couples. There is nothing for children to do (this may be different in high season) and I felt a bit sorry for the very few kids that were there... definitely not a family hotel for those with youngsters but a hotel leaning more towards the party crowd. For a couples holiday it's OK but there are better adult only hotels out there.  It's a really well placed hotel if you like to walk, approx 45 minute walk to Cafe mambo on the other side of the bay, and some other spectacular sunset  views if you turn right out of the hotel and walk for about 20 minutes to Far Verd Punta de Xinxó.  Essentially there is no guaranteed quiet space to relax at this hotel which is a massive shame and so sadly we won't be returning despite all the positives it has to offer.       

We booked 18 rooms at the hostal sunset for our wedding guests but have stayed on multiple occasions at the Hostal Sunset. The staff here are really helpful and friendly; a special thanks to Marco & Veronica. This is a budget hotel, centrally located but still far enough away from the noise to be quiet enough to get some decent sleep. We were a mixture of couples and families. This hotel on some sites states no children but we had a few with us so check with the hotel in case this changes. The rooms are very basic; some have been updated and some still need it but at £75 a night for a room for 2 with a terrace in August you get what you pay for. The rooms are clean and if you need anything done there is always someone to help. The only thing I would suggest are slightly better mattresses (this is probably as I’m used to a firmer mattress at home). The pool area is across the road and great; it never gets too busy and there’s always a life guard on duty. You can take you’re own drinks and food to the pool as they currently don’t have a bar at the hotel. We took a speaker so had a pre party most days. Every room has a safe for free, the air con is fantastic and there are some free toiletries; you can buy more at reception. I would definitely book again if I was looking for something cheap to put my head down.
