Aparthotel Los Dragos del Sur

We stayed here in April for a 5 night break and the hotel was pretty much everything that we expected. It is a 3 star hotel and that is reflected in the price as well as the general presentation of the hotel as a whole. The rooms were really well presented and the kitchen area was well stocked. Nice balcony overlooking the sea for a small additional cost. The staff were so welcoming and helpful from reception to catering and cleaning teams. The breakfast selection was excellent and caters for many tastes and has plenty of hot and cold dishes on a buffet basis. The pool area was nice and secluded and there were plenty of sunbeds available whilst we were staying. Plenty of local buses taking you to other towns and there are some good coastal walks to Los Gigantes in one direction and Alcalá in the other and the buses are nice and cheap too. Overall we found it to be very good value for money under and made for a really relaxing break.

Just returned from 10 nights here. I’ve stayed in 5 other hotels in this area before, but for the price, this has been the best! Large apartment & balcony, well-equipped kitchen, 5 of the main UK TV channels, comfy bed. The breakfast was amazing, very impressed by choice and freshness. Pool area was good, and I managed to grab one of the ******** poster beds to relax in the shade, every afternoon. Perhaps because there’s no bar in evening, and restaurant only offers breakfast, it was practically all “older” guests. This was good for me, and there were no kids by pool in the 10 days I stayed. The hotel is right by the bus stops, buy a plastic ticket in local shop and load it with credit. Buses are cheap, I got bus to Puerto de la Cruz for less than 5€. 2 hr journey, great views, nice town to spend a few hours in. I will definitely be back to stay at the hotel next winter, for the sunshine. 26 degrees every day!

Lovely hotel, extremely clean, good location. Would only recommend visiting here out of term time as the pool area is quite small but we were lucky it was so quiet in March. The pool bar food was lovely and great cocktails with daily price deals. Breakfast buffet was also lovely. Only downfall was the reception staff were rude and not helpful.

My wife and I came to visit for our anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean with a beautiful balcony view of the sea. On the 4th floor the Pool and Gym are located.The staff were very pleasant and professional. The hotel is central and just across the street is the bus stop which we took to spend the day in Los America's. In the other direction is a nice walk to Los Gigantes(about 20mins) all in all a not too hectic break.

We stayed here for 3 weeks in January. It's very well located in the centre of Puerto de Santiago. We requested a sea view room which had a really excellent view out over the ocean and also along the ***** of shops and restaurants. The bus stop is located a few yards from the front door with the 477 bus going to the main tourist hubs of Adeje (45 mins) and the smaller, lovely towns of San Juan and Alcala. There is a great tour opertator a few doors down to the right who is helpful and knowledgeable and can help book trips, tours, car hire, taxis , golf etc. The hotel itself was perfect for what we needed. Rooms are serviced 5 days per week (excl Thu & Sun) and there is a good choice at the breakfast buffet. The kitchen is well-equipped with all you need to make lunches and dinners at home - this saves a lot of money with not having to eat out every day. There are lots of mini supermarkets nearby and a good Lidl about 10 - 15 mins walk away. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and friendly. The apartment is spacious & bright, with plenty or starage and a nice, big balcolny. The pool and pool area are small but nice. There were plenty of sunloungers available at all times and the pool bar is open daily 10am-6pm with drinks and light lunch time snacks at really reasonable prices. You can hire a hairdryer from reception for €10 deposit which you get back. We thought the daily fee of €2.50 (non returnable) for a safe key was very expensive (as we were there for 3 weeks) and rather a silly additional charge. There is a laundry on the 6th floor where you can use the washing machine, tumble dryer (both coin op) and iron (free). There is also a collection of books on the 4th floor near the pool which guests can help themsleves to for reading while there. Overall, for a 3 star hotel, we thought this place was very good and we would go back.

Close to the beach and the main seafront promenade with its own pool and well priced food. Rooms clean with everything that needed, only criticism were the pillows were hard. Sunloungers always available by the pool and a small but very well priced menu available throughout the day. Breakfast is buffet style with something for everyone

Stayed here quite a few times and never been disappointed. Great hotel close to most things , Great staff , best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. Views from the balcony is stunning , Airton is super easy and overall the rooms are fantastic.

Stayed for a week in early jan. Lovely location- excellent restaurant’s just a few metres away and local bars that are very cheap within easy walking distance. The room was very comfortable with air con in the lounge and bedroom. Small kitchen very well equipped with all you would need. Rooms are serviced 5/7 days a week. Very modern and clean. All staff are extremely polite and welcoming. The pool area was lovely and plenty of space although could imagine if it gets busy it may be a little crowded. The serve drinks and bar snacks 10-6(7 in the summer). Breakfast was very good-massive choice and different options on some items each day. There are lots of buses that go past the hotel some going as far as Los Christiano- top tip if going to las Americas catch the 477 direct which takes about 45 minutes and not the 473 which takes about 1.30 !!! Easy coastal walk to Los Gigantes and can always get a bus back. Spectacular views along the way. We hired a car for one day. We used Book Direct which is right next to the hotel. It was only €42 for the day. One of the companies up the rd wanted 180 for the day. Plan ahead and book early if doing this though as even in January all the cars seemed to be booked up
