Everything was Perfect, best Hotel on the Beach.
Only thing one could improve is the reception Lady / owner (as also mentioned as only negative in many other comments). She is just not nice, dont make you feel Welcome and you have to ask for everything instead of her proactively Sharing Information (like Wireless password it that there is a big Jazz Festival which is free during the time of your stay)….

This is the nicest property in the area. It’s on the beach. The rooms are clean and the pool is warm. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely location right on the beach. Excellent pool and room.
Reception staff was less than friendly.
Zero greetings as we passed them several times during our stay.
The bar staff were awesome! Very friendly, attentive and great.

We really loved our stay here. We don't typically spend this much for a hotel, but it was completely worth it. Mazunte itself can be really busy and noisy and this place has such a peaceful, lux vibe with a short walk to everything. The pool was super clean, you are right on the beach, the staff brings food and drink straight to you in the pool, and the staff was super helpful. I felt overall that the rooms could have been better cleaned. They made the bed but left a dirty floor mat and shower looked like it hadn't been touched. Also, if you plan on staying out late, get the code to get in. We got locked out one night, rang the door bell a bunch and eventually had to walk around through the beach and scale a small fence, which was not great for my husband who had a hurt back. Not a big deal but just FYI because Mazunte has a great night life and it's worth staying out later some nights and come back to your quiet spot on the beach.

Every room has a great view! All of the staff were excellent and friendly. The pool was refreshing and the grounds beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. Good air conditioning. Would appreciate more comfortable seating options in the room and on the balcony. A mini frig would also be nice. Overall, I truly believe it is one of the nicest accommodations in Mazunte! I would stay here again.

We booked a 3 nights stay at Casa Lu in January 2023. Had a lovely time and would highly recommend. The hotel was clean, beachfront property with amazing views of the bay! Sunsets were beautiful! Pool was clean and for guests only. Breakfast was included - thanks so much to Jamie and Edourdo for the great food and service! Our only regret was not booking a longer stay! We will definitely be back!

We had booked and paid 2 rooms since months ago and travelled from Europe only to find that the hotel had sold on our rooms (to a higher price?) leaving us in the middle of nowhere without a place to stay during high season where everything is sold out. ********** contacted 20 other places without luck. No response from the hotel to calls and mails - no apologies, no explanations. Just leaving us in total disarray shamelessly. Cannot be trusted!
