Club Santana Beach & Resort

I didn't stay but I had lunch and spent an afternoon in the pool as access is possible upon payment. I tried again to have lunch/snack and spend the afternoon at the pool and was informed by the manager/director that they only served external customers until 3 pm (it was 2:50 pm) and that from then on the bar/snack service only served club guests. Positive points: location, facilities, friendliness of the receptionists, very attentive bar staff (in the local context) Negative points and those to be improved: contact between the manager/responsible person and the customer was mediocre, poor price-quality ratio of the food, beer served hot, juice natural was Compal.

Service is very attentive, and service is excellent. Everything of very good quality. The space is always in impeccable condition. The only drawback will be considering, and charging, a bungalow on the second line with the sea view obstructed by palm trees as a sea view. This extra takes the price/night well above what is acceptable for identical spaces. There are also no frequent transport services to leave the resort (two days a week a shuttle between the hotel and the city) which will not be a problem if the aim is just to enjoy the landscape and facilities. Please note that you will have to hire a car, taxi or driver for dinner outside the resort. The friendliness and attention of all the staff is unsurpassable. The resort has a diving center that offers equipment for snorkling, in addition to the most complete diving experiences.

The site is magnificent. The bungalows are very comfortable and spacious but too overlooked when you are on the terrace. This will be the big disappointment of our stay compared to the other hotels where we stayed. The establishment aims to be luxury and charges a price accordingly but is managed like a low-end "all inclusive". No warm atmosphere. The first day, room not made! No welcome drink on arrival or other attention. The buffet style catering is very mediocre and be there early otherwise you will only have leftovers and don't count on the staff to hand over dishes. The prices at the beach restaurant are exorbitant. If the infinity pool is magnificent, the management has decided to cut down the coconut trees and trees that overlook it...so relaxation to the sound of the chainsaws and the smell of 2-stroke oil rather than waiting for the closing schedule the following week. ..lack of respect for customers unacceptable at this price. A real management problem... Too bad

Escolhi este hotel porque tinha praia,o que não acontecia se tivesse ficado na cidade de S.Tomé. E foi uma boa opção.O resort é muito agradável,os bungalows espaçosos e muito confortáveis. A piscina junto ao mar,mar óptimo para nadar,as espreguiçadeiras dão para a piscina e para o mar. O pequeno almoço é bom,com muita fruta.Jantei sempre no hotel,estava em regime de meia pensão,e a comida era boa,sempre como peixe fresco como opção.O pessoal atencioso apesar que lhes falta formação. O top do resort para mim são as vistas magníficas para o mar e o jardim sempre bem arranjado onde se espalham os bungalows. Importante pedir um bungalow com vista para o mar,os números 1 a 5 são os melhores. Penso que este hotel seja dos melhores senão o melhor para quem queira conhecer a ilha mas com acesso à praia.
