Location was away far city. No shuttle service. Checking in took a long time.

Stayed at this hotel as a family of three - the accommodation is perfect and location is a 40 minute walk from the centre. The food was lovely and the staff pleasant. Nice bar that had the euros on and nice reasonable priced drinks- we can recommend.

A smart modern hotel about 2 km from the centre of Santiago. Rooms were well equipped and spacious. The breakfast buffet was excellent. It was easy to get taxis into town so its location is only a minor issue. It lacks a little character, but that's just because it is large and modern and part of a chain

Exquisite hotel - modern facilities, very spacious room & bathroom. Hotel is all marble throughout. Breakfast spread was excellent! Dinner was beyond adequate with variety of choices, drinks, & deserts. Nice grounds to walk around. Huge outdoor pool (too chilly to swim). My only comment is noisy hallways; you can hear your neighbors/thin walls. Wish we could have stayed another day; we stayed here as part of a group tour. Location of hotel is far from the Compostela - you will need a taxi ride.

I stayed in the this Hotel due to unfortunate circumstances on a flight from Funchal to Manchester UK, resulting in Diverting to Santiago. I had a prolonged stay due to dealing with formalities with a Lady I was accompanying, and can only describe ALL the staff at this hotel as EXCELLENT. Nothing was too much trouble for them and their Kindness to the Lady I was travelling with was heart warming. Special thanks to Receptionist Eva Carracedo who was particularly helpful, going out of her way with translations and paperwork. I hope to stay here again for more pleasant reasons. 5 Starts to everyone Dr S

A nice hotel for business and families. The rooms are spacious, the gym alright and the pool nice. The breakfast is good and the cafeteria too. The service is excellent and in particular we are thankful to Eve at the reception and Jessica & Manuel at the cafeteria.

The Hotel is good, the location is also good, the rooms are good... but... a 4-star hotel with a bathtub that has very little pressure and a 1mm difference from burning lava to glacier is inadmissible, gentlemen, many groups of people come here Major, renew the shower park NOW!!

The human staff a 10 in every way! Very professional, the Hotel is very complete and you can breathe an atmosphere of cleanliness and harmony. I recommend it 100%. I will never forget you! The location and access is excellent. The entrance to the Hotel is magnificent and has street parking.

At first sight. After five days of staying at the "Puerta del Camino" hotel, I will tell you something, the arrival at first sight is spectacular, full of light, large, good "gatherings" very well located so that it does not interrupt the entrance or exit of clients with luggage, a large reception, and I don't know exactly, but by eye there are about 140 rooms. All this generated a suspicion in me: we are not going to rest with so much noise, full of people, and at Christmas parties! We found a very warm, discreet hotel, with perfect staff, cozy rooms, impeccable and quiet, it made us feel as if we were the only guests, the last day was New Year's Day... there was a celebration... it was normal... We arrived at our room...and absolute silence. You may wonder why all this is, and that is that when something bothers us, we immediately protest and complaints are usually common, which is why I consider it fair to share a positive and friendly experience, for everyone who goes to Santiago de Compostela and whether You are looking for tranquility, or celebration, this is your Hotel. Thanks to all the staff!.

We went to celebrate New Year's Eve and in the process we added an extra night. We chose this hotel because compared to others it offered dancing until 6, free indoor parking, brunch on day 1 and late checkout until 4. We thought they had prepared a generous and thoughtful New Year's Eve package, and we were not disappointed. The hotel is spacious and the rooms are large. The dinner on the 31st had a very good menu and the party room had the perfect temperature, plenty of space and was very beautifully decorated. But what we liked the most was the customer service. Flawless. At the reception, breakfast, the party, the hallways... all detailed, pleasant and very professional.

The best thing about the hotel was the breakfast, Lucía, a waitress who was very eager to work and very pleasant, served us. We had a gluten-intolerant person in the group, who showed kindness from the first moment to provide her with everything she had available. Of course it's nice to have people like that.

Modern hotel, recommendable, quiet, very spacious rooms, bathroom with tub/shower, good breakfast and dinner, excellent WF, we hope to return to Santiago de Compostela again. A few minutes from the center. The only drawback was the rain but it's not the hotel's fault
