Prekas Apartments

My family and I stayed here and the views were just amazing of the caldera. My wife and I were in room #9 which was the bottom of the steps that was on the side of the caldera which provided amazing views (pretty confident it was room #9). The reason I mention the room number is that the shared pool for the all of the apartments was in front of our patio doorway and room, so it was like the shared pool was ours. Only a few people use it so it was like our private pool. Our 2 boys were also with us but they shared a room on the main walk in which their room was on one side of the walk and the patio on the other side which also provided a great view. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and we had a wonderful stay. The apartments were also perfectly located, walking distance to many attractions. If I come back, I will definitely stay here again.

We rented the family apartment. During off season, it was difficult to get hold of reception. On entry, the place has a sewage, moldy smell. We kept the bathroom, fans, the one window constantly running, opened. The shower is super tiny and difficult to contain the, water. On the first night while showering, the main drain backed up and we ended up with water in our common space. The staff came after an hour to unclog the pipe. The view from the shared balcony was gorgeous though, you what you pay for.

We stayed at Prekas Apartments in Imerovigli from 30 May until 6 June, the last 2 days were added because it was simply the best place to stay in Santorini. You have amazing views over the Caldera and the layout of the hotel is beautiful, with a small swimming pool down the cliff, guaranteeing some privacy. We lived in the "Captains Spa Suite" which is a cave structure of which the spa part i.e. bathroom with jacuzzi is actually bigger then the bedroom. Lefteris is a kind and very helpful manager and he made sure that our stay was unforgettable. He was always ready to answer questions. Standard Prekas doesn’t serve breakfast or diner, but they can organize it for you. There are also some good delivery outfits that bring you nice Greek food. Very much recommended.

Prekas aparments was such a great place to stay in Santorini! The staff were excellent and the room as described. The pool was a great addition and the view from balcony was just stunning!

incredible view , apartment is great . You have everything you need not a luxury stay but decent but the view out of your balcony conpensates all . highley recommend it . Reception desk guy nice . Very helpful in answering our questions and arranging for transfer pick up to airport .

Really enjoyed our short stay. Arrived at night and woke up in the morning to discover the view from out apartment, absolutely stunning. Perfectly located overlooking the whole caldera with Oia directly ahead to the right in the distance. Apartment was basic with some of the taps not working properly but had everything we needed for our short stay. Would have been nice to have a few extra pillows as this affected our sleep having only one thin pillow. All apartments/rooms have a Sunset view which truly spectacular, highlight of our stay.

Due to booking the Captain’s Suite on a non-refundable basis, owner & Mr Lefteris was most kind in helping to postpone trip for 2 years due to the pandemic, efcharisto indeed! We later changed our booking for a 2-3 pax Apartment no 5, great choice as the Apt has an extra comfy sofa bed (a tad narrow so not for big sized men!). Everything looked quite new and functional! On request, we had a portable stove, pots and pans delivered. First time cooking simple dishes in Santorini, a bliss! At 30 sqm, it was cosy enough for two with a nice balcony co-shared with room 6. Apt 5 is right below Reception and the public walkway and has just a few steps. However, passers by may see you from the public path if you are on the balcony …not a big problem for us. If privacy is more important than steps, then i would recommend Apt 7 or Double Room 6 or 8. Sunsets were nice and unblocked. You can see Oia and Thirasia island from the balcony. This town is indeed less busy than Fira and Oia which we had stayed 14 years ago. As the Central bus station is in Fira, if you are not driving, Fira might be more convenient for day trips. Overall, this hotel did not disappoint and kind manager Mr Lefteris makes all the difference!!! Thank you for everything indeed.

The receptionist is very helpful. Apartment is in a very good location and peaceful.
