Everything else is okay, the hotel has no signal, I think at least there must be WI-FI, and then you have to go to the bar to get it and you need a password, which I think is not very convenient.

We thought this place was wonderful. We were a bit sceptical having read other reviews but were very pleasantly surprised. First of all, we were upgraded to a Mountain View on check- in. The rooms aren’t palatial but perfectly comfortable. There’s quite a lot on site - cafe, restaurant and pub, plus gift- shop, a gym and a sauna and a lounge area. The latter aren’t amazing but good to have. We ate in the pub- grill your own meat and eat as much salad as you like. It was great, especially the service. We had breakfast in the restaurant, which was a lovely setting and the prices for a proper breakfast are similar to the cafe, which is self- service. Our waitress Nadiia was delightful. Yes, OK, so you pay a bit more for everything than you might in Canmore, but you are in the middle of nowhere. Reception suggested a nice walk for us and lent us bear spray( which we returned unused! ) .

The breakfast buffet was great and so was the scenery. The dinner was also good but there was no wifi in the rooms so you had to go to the part ment for general purpose. The laundrett was good. The rooms were a little snug but ehat do you expect from a motel? The channels were amazing and it had some great shows to watch. I give this place a solid three stars. It was really nice for a motel.

COVID interrupted our travel plan. But the resort gave us grace period for us to use our deposit. We glad that we did and more. Slightly dated. But WONDERFUL spot, so close to many sites. Service is great. Things are expensive due to the short season and the location. We will be back again!

First of all, those who complained about price probably didn't check the hotel's official website which has promotional packages you can find nowhere else - for my case, half the price of Priceline or ***********! In terms of hardware and software, it's far from the "resort" hotel we lived in Banff Town (namely, the CAA Four-Diamond "Rimrock", which I'd strongly recommend too), but it's much better than any "motel" I've even lived in. I'd say it's a resort hotel for budget travellers, if you want to visit both Banff and Jasper for about one week but wish to stay in just one place (get prepared to drive at least 2-3 hours each day in this case) or with a tight budget, this is the place to go! Room is small, but clean and tidy, has everything you can expect at a "resort" hotel, from toiletries to fridge, bed is comfortable too. Staffs are very nice and friendly. The view is beautiful, especially sunrise and sunset, you don't have such great view in most other hotels in Banff and Jasper. And kids loved the swing chair outside our building. Yes, food and gas prices are high, but food quality is as good as, if not better than, restaurants of similar price in Banff or Jasper, and you can full your tank at Banff or Jasper to skip here if you don't want to pay the premium for the full car service (like I did). Considering its location - right at the midpoint of Banff and Jasper with no other lodging or dining or gas options within 30-50 minutes range either side, I'd say this is a great place at a fair price. Only downside is no wi-fi and this place has no cellphone coverage, so get prepared to disconnect with outside, but there is upside too: I had the best night's sleep here during the whole week in Banff/Jasper!

Surprisingly good given the remote location. COVID shut down the hotel. The owner gives us credit. We used it two years later. Yes. This is pricy. Yes. There is no internet. Yes. The building is not fancy. BUT I am glad to stay this place. Clean. Well functioned.

Excellent location with exceptional views of some of the iconic mountains of Banff National Park (Sakatchewan Mt., Chephren Mt.,...). We were able to do some very interesting hikes, of the many in the surrounding area. Being in a very isolated place it is easy to see wildlife in the surroundings (black bears, goats, ...). We purchased the Hike and Attraction Packeged which included 2 nights in a standard room for two, full breakfast and a discount for dinner. Certainly the rooms need a big update and for some people the lack of wifi in the rooms may be a handicap, but not for us who were looking for isolation from everyday life. Dining in the restaurant is above average and the breakfast is very complete. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. At breakfast we were lucky enough to meet Mili, the breakfast attendant, who being Argentinian allowed us to speak Spanish with her and get to know the resort and the surroundings better.

Stayed here for one night on our drive to Jasper as we arrived in Calgary Airport in the afternoon and wanted to break our drive up. Property is old and dated. No internet or cell phone coverage. Got up for breakfast at 0730, restaurant and cafe both closed. Probably the worst place i have ever stayed in.

Was quite apprehensive about staying here after the 3-4 one star reviews in a row I saw below me but I can’t really fault the place to the same degree if I’m honest. It’s absolutely fine for a stopover. I got a clean room, a warm shower and a nice patio area to drink a beer and soak in the exceptional views. The food was less than average. Got a couple of soggy fish tacos which I’d rather forget about. Is it worth the €211 I paid for a night? Well no, but your options are limited in the part of the Icefields Parkway so beggars can’t be choosers. All in all, I’d stay here again but in hindsight, I’d arrive with a full belly.

We have stayed at the crossing 3 times in the last several years ! The food was good ! The rooms are clean ! And the people were friendly ! Everything along the Parkway is high price ! That should be and is expected ! But you are in one of the most beautiful locations in the world ! So what's the big deal ? Enjoy yourself ! Spend a little extra ! Save up and go ! You wont regret it !

Majestic mountains are the backdrop for this setting. We stayed in a two bed room which was clean and had a definitely nostalgic vibe. Toiletries and TV are included. Nothing fancy but adequate for our one night stay. SHOUT OUT to the dinner buffet served in the full service restaurant - the variety of delicious offerings was surprising and well worth the price! There is a gift shop, gasoline, a pub, WIFI in the room under the pub, and a snack bar.

Exceeded my expectations, having previously read what I would say are misleading reviews, I would comment that they are unrealistic about the remote location and short business Year for this resort that offers considerable variety of comforts for travellers, maybe more so for their residents. The welcome at checkin , the friendly and welcoming staff in the restaurant , bar and elsewhere here made our 2night stay an enjoyable time, and I would certainly recommend the Crossing. The food on offer in the restaurant and bar was more than adequate though understandably restricted in variety. The motel cabins were fine , clean and of reasonable size. Wi-Fi is only available in the bar on the upper floor and residents lounge area below on the ground floor. The location is beautiful and convenient.

I was a little nervous booking this because of the poor reviews but we really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the room that is called "adjoining room" because it was the only thing left with two beds. We had a full bed and a single bed for the three of us. The room was actually larger than I was expecting given the reviews of small rooms...in the US national parks these triple rooms barely fit the beds. This is a place where you pay a premium for location. If Wifi in your rooms is important to you, you should not book this location. There are some chairs outside the pub where we used the wifi for free...we only need to check in and make sure that were not missing any important messages. We also had the dinner buffet and were pleased with it. Overall, if you want to stay on the icefield's parkway, and know that you are paying a premium for location this is a great place to stay. We were happy that we had a fridge and had bought breakfast and lunch for the next day in Canmore. The prices in the store were high and the premade sandwich selection limited, but that is what I expected.
