We came to celebrate my husbands birthday. Everything was perfect. The staff was so friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The weather was chilly, but the staff had the best hot chocolate waiting for us when we came back after sightseeing. We have been coming to Savannah a least twice a year since 2010, and after stay at Azalea Inn we have decided this is our favorite place to stay, we will definitely be back.

This is a lovely inn, conveniently located downtown near historic district and shopping and dining. The room was well appointed, and we enjoyed the gas fireplace as it was an usually cold weekend. The full breakfast was legit!

Three nights in Savannah to allow us to encounter a city we had never visited. We enjoyed each day and activity. Azalea was a friendly place to stay, easily accessible to everything and we would recommend it to others. Breakfast meals were very nice, staff was very friendly and helpful.

The property was lovely, with modernization that managed to retain the historic nature of the house. Don't miss the explanations of the commissioned murals in the dining room! The staff were all friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

I stayed in the Cotton suite which has a tub large enough for 2-3 people and you can either watch the television or the fireplace from either side, with your head resting on the tub. It was comfortable and cozy, besides the old gentleman's photos handing on the walls. Be mindful to let the water run as the house is over 150 years old. But when its hot, its hot. Not recommended for couples, as the room is on the main hall and sound will carry, if you know what I mean. Otherwise, great stay and truly recommend for a retreat getaway.

Overall it is great historic B&B close to the famous Forsyth Park. Christmas deco is beautiful, breakfast menu is different every day, the food was outstanding, there is wine, dessert and snacks at social hour, the living room and dining room is well furnished and decorated! The atmosphere is so homy! Front desk staff is so friendly and considerate! The only one thing we would like to see improvement is that maybe the waitress could slow down a bit and let me finish the dessert before taking away the dishes…..
