Perfect for holiday! wonderful experience

I booked a "Small Double Room with Garden View and Balcony" this time. The hotel is located near the boat station, with the street and restaurants just outside, which is very convenient. However, the hotel does not have an elevator, so it is not recommended to bring large luggage. The space in the room is limited, and there is barely enough space for two large suitcases. Although it is a garden view room, it faces the neighboring building, so there is no view. The balcony is separated by wooden panels, and you can see the neighboring building when you look out.

The room was clean and tidy. The location is excellent. The boat ride to Lake Königssee is right outside the hotel, which is very convenient. The breakfast was very rich, with a variety of hams and breads to choose from.

The room seemed recently renovated and was very clean. The service was attentive, and the breakfast was delicious with a wide selection. The location is particularly convenient for those planning a Königssee boat tour, as the pier is right outside. The Jennerbahn cable car is also not far away, less than a ten-minute walk, and the hotel includes bus tickets. I'd definitely stay here again next time I visit.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We mentioned it was our wedding anniversary and they decorated our table at dinner, very sweet. Our room was lovely and very clean and updated. The restaurant was very good and breakfast offerings were very good as well. Convenient location to many hikes in the area and an idyllic spot right on the water. Free, close parking. Walkable to all the main shops and restaurants in the area and a short drive to Berchtesgaden. Would definitely stay here again!

The reception at the hotel was very friendly and the location, right on the Königssee, really can't be topped. Unfortunately we were unlucky and were given a very small room with a balcony to the side, facing a building that is being demolished, and a window that looked out onto the hotel's car park and the run-down, demolished casino. We tried to change rooms, even paying an extra fee. As we wanted to stay from Sunday to Friday, we were unable to be offered any alternatives. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and the service staff, including in the evening in the restaurant/beer garden, were very friendly and always helpful. As we were there at a time when it was extremely hot, even at night, we asked a lady from housekeeping whether she might have lighter blankets for us. Thankfully it worked and we were able to sleep reasonably well the following nights. Overall, we had a good time at the Hotel Königssee.
