The hotel features spacious, well-appointed rooms with some balcony views, a high-quality breakfast buffet, and exceptional staff service. However, it has been criticized for overpriced amenities and outdated rooms. Its location is convenient for outdoor activities.

Our room ist very small, not comfortable and absolutely tasteless. A room shower is extremely old. But employees are all very nice and friendly. Very nice attitude to dogs. Hotel and room level is on a 3 star level, if to be nice and optimistic . We were very disappointed, when we saw our ‘vacation’ room, which is really tiny. We have expected much better level of four star hotel in Austria. The ‘vintage’ look is just old and tasteless here

I've been in this hotel about 7 times already. Is there more to say? I love the extraordinary rooms, the very welcoming service, the location itself and the beautiful nature around. Especially the wellness area and amazing food in the restaurant is more then worth the stay. Unfortunetly the rooms are very warm at night, but when you just use the blanketsheeds it's fine. All in all you won't regret anything and of course I'll definitively come back ;-)

We were completely happy with our stay at the Walliserhof as usual. We had a very warm welcome when we arrived, much appreciated. Very good food, very nice breakfast except the orange juice.. a pity not to get fresh pressed orange juice in such a good hotel. Minor point to consider: no slippers are given anymore for the Spa which is a bit a pity.. Thank you and see you soon!

Images speak for them self's, after a quick visit in the kitchen. Welcome to walliserhof quality of life, love in nature in a more realistic view, but more nature with this fungus that I saw than love. Hopefully the owners wake will wake up and realise what is happening around them and get out from the bubble the created in the mind.

If you like alpine flair with an artistic twist, like good food and a crackling fire, but can do without the pretentious attitude and overinflated price tag that often comes with it? Then try out the Walliserhof in Brand! Visible effort has gone into turning the public and private rooms in the two buildings into stylish and cosy places, with a funky twist. Family rooms with balcony offer ample space for families of 3 or 4, with kids taking the bunkbed that's separate from the parental bedroom. Rooms without balcony and/or separate shower (hand browser in the bathtub only) less so. Throughout the public spaces, there are cosy seating arrangements and several fires, alpine-style deco, natural colours and fabrics ooze a relaxed and warm atmospere. The kitchen is definitely a cut above what we have experienced in other places with a similar price tag and comes highly recommended! Despite the obvious Covid related measures & etiquette (mask wearing obviously well enforced!), we have experienced all staff to be welcoming and intent on making our stay very enjoyable indeed. It isn't ski-in-ski-out, and the ski bus didn't run as frequently as one might expect, but the walk to the main lift in town isn't all that long, and didn't even trigger complaints from our 11 YO :-) Overall rated excellent for a welcome break over New Years, chilling out, enjoying good food and and fun time on the slopes with family & friends.

Great location, good food - dinner as well as breakfast. Only furniture in the room 7122 must be a bit maintained as well as the door to the balcony - that one is not stable. Also the safe in the room was locked and could not be opened.

Overall we have had a pleasant days in your hotel. The in-chec was bad and not kindfull . We didn't understand everything. We should look for answers on internet. On the room was no information. We didn't understand where we could find the "Gästekarte" . I don't think we 've missed it. We know the way in Brandertal; we have been here for 35 years. The restaurant and bar were very good. The crew was very kindfull and friendly. They were champions ! I hope I have writen it good and understandable. Atherwise you can call me by my mobile mumber. Greetings, Ab van der Wagen, #102

We happily returned to the walliserhof this February halfterm, following the lifting of Covid restrictions. Our last time here was February halfterm 2020. Our second trip really did not disappoint. So much had changed in two years and yet remained so familiar and welcoming. We stayed in the older scesca building again. It has had a refurb so although the rooms remain cheaper than the rooms in the building opposite, they were definitely more comfortable than our previous stay - with cosy, comfy beds, nice lighting and fun pictures on the walls. Breakfast is amazing. The fresh juice maker is a nice touch, and you can order hot food as well as taking full advantage of the buffet. Dinner was a little more hit and miss but overall worth paying the extra for half board. We ordered in pizzas one night, and were able to eat these in the bar. The walliserhof is such a laid back hotel. The staff are just so friendly and accommodating, nothing is a problem. The views from the spa are stunning as is the quality of the spa. The new outside Finnish sauna is a lovely touch. And there’s a second party spa in the original building that works well for noisy children. Indeed water gun battles in the pool are encouraged! It’s close enough to the ski station. There is a regular free bus for those that don’t fancy walking back up with all their ski equipment. And there is good ski storage at the hotel. We were one of the few English families at the hotel this year. Maybe because of Covid restrictions and the ninja pass rules for 12 to 15 year olds. Brand is a quiet village, so maybe not so appealing if you want nightlife. I’ve already got a quote for next Feb halfterm. The prices have gone up, I suppose to be expected following Covid. But we shall definitely be returning.

I loved the modern vibe of the place, the food was lovely with friendly staff (lots of fun with the friendly barman) and atmosphere. I had some fabulous spa treatments (massage etc) and was also delighted that I could bring my little doggie as it was pet friendly! We went at Spring time so no snow but lovely for a change of scene, wellness & relaxation, good food and wine with friends and a train journey from Zurich!
