Korston Hotel Serpukhov

We stopped for one night at this hotel by chance, believing in its four-star rating. We would not pay attention to the unpleasant smell in the toilet, the hole in the pillowcase and the lack of slippers, not to mention the bathrobe (we found out about the possibility of asking for slippers, a bathrobe and a toothbrush in the morning from a piece of paper on the tabletop in the toilet, written in small print). There was no kettle or tea bags. Restaurant. In the evening we went there for dinner. Hummus from the COLD appetizers section was brought so hot that when, without expecting a catch, she spread it on slightly grilled bread (called toast on the menu) and began to eat, she got a palate burn. “Salad with boiled pork and poached egg” was served with absolutely dry small pieces of boiled pork and without a poached egg. In response to a fair remark about the absence of the ingredient declared on the menu, after five minutes they brought a bowl with a hard-boiled poached egg ... They asked for the bill three times, in the end we went to the cashier ourselves. In principle, all this can be understood, and we would not write a negative review if it were not for the BREAKFAST that was included in the price. We hoped that, in accordance with the requirements for 4 * hotel categories, established by the "Regulations on the Classification of Hotels", approved. Government of the Russian Federation dated 11/18/2020 No. 1860 (paragraph 56), we will be fed a buffet breakfast. But our hopes were not justified. The restaurant told us that when the hotel is not very busy, breakfast is served a la carte, from which you can choose two or three dishes and ONE drink. (It is not clear what relation the quality of guests' food has to the workload of the hotel). Moreover, the only curd dish - syrniki - was absent that day. There were cereals, pancakes and scrambled eggs. No fruits, no vegetables... We didn't have breakfast and asked at the reception to return the money to us for the service not rendered through no fault of ours. Got rejected...

Stayed for one night, the room was on the 12th floor. Club music is quite loud at night, apparently from the bar, which is located on the 15th floor. Accommodation was without breakfast, so there is nothing to say about the restaurant. There are no questions about cleanliness in the room itself, but there is an unpleasant foreign smell in the bathroom.

Good hotel, cool staff. Stayed in a room category "Suite". Room is spacious, cleanliness is good. A chic restaurant on the 15th floor. The chefs do their job well - respect. As for breakfast, there is a great selection of food. If you want to eat quickly - order breakfast in advance, as you still have to wait 20 minutes. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

We took a deluxe room. Husband, me and two children. The sofa bed (for a child) creaked terribly. The bed was large and comfortable. The main huge minus for the dirt, I will never come here again just because you can’t rent a room like that. The feeling that before our arrival, only the refrigerator was closed and the garbage was thrown out. They didn't even seem to be vacuumed on the floor, someone else's glasses were lying on the floor by the bed. TV stand covered in dust. The bathroom is all stained with soap - you would even wipe the tiles before arrival, the toilet is dirty - you had to quickly wipe it yourself, there is sand, dust and hair on the floor in the bathroom and in the room, there is also hair on the bed under the sheet. There was no shower gel in the dispenser in the bathroom. Slippers on request (this is not convenient - they should be immediately in place) brought half a day later. No cotton swabs/discs, etc. I should not ask for this, in a hotel of this level, for such money it should already be right away, and not I should try to get through to the room service after a shower (I never got through, no one answered me). All over the hotel for children there were no stools / benches / steps so that children could reach the sink. There is no soap dish near the sink, put the soap directly on the sink? Air conditioning is one thing. The pillows are extremely uncomfortable and hard. The Extra restaurant on the 15th floor is just as dirty, the black shiny tiles on the floor and walls are all stained, didn’t you have time to clean up from the night before 10 in the morning? you can’t keep it clean, so why such surfaces on which everything is noticeable and the food is not tasty there, only the coffee was a success, the omelet in the middle was not cooked, the cheesecakes are also some kind of ridiculous. At night in a room on the 12th floor it was impossible to sleep because of the club music. In a word, I do not recommend (for people who care about cleanliness).
