Dresser drawer falling open and wouldn't shut, could see previously taped shut - flat screen kept streaking and image breaking up not watchable - bed made metal banging sound (the frame) when you got in and out of it.

After a long day of travel it’s nice to just park in front of your room and go right in. The only problem is other guests or visitors outside who are loud and unaware or indifferent to quiet hours. The hotel did not seem very busy but we were given rooms on the same row as the office. Seemingly on either side of the only other guest and one room was next to what I believe to be a full time resident.
The outside noise was just excessive after 11 PM. The carpet was dirty (so dirty that I walked around in the room for 15 minutes before showering and my feet were black with dirt, my traveling companion as well. We were in rooms 103 and 105) and the shower curtain and bath mat were stained. But the coffee was good and the staff was friendly. Sheets were clean. Towels were thicker and nicer than the Red Roof in SC the night before. Room did not smell musty but the overwhelming smell of cleaner was nauseating, especially in the lobby. If we weren’t location and budget had not necessitated our stay we probably would not have chosen this option and likely will not again.
