The Cloud Tree Inn (云树里YunShiLi) Boutique Guesthouse is in a picturesque area of Xichong with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Xichong (西涌/西冲) is the only official “Dark Sky Area” in China. Only 48km from Shenzhen (深圳) city center, it will take an hour to an hour fifteen to arrive by car. Xichong beach is only 10 min walk from Could Tree Inn, and is one of the best beaches is China. It’s clean, beautiful and there is a patrolled area of the beach with lifeguards. There are also areas for rock fishing or you can hire a boat for some ocean fishing. If you’re interested in the stars there is the astronomical and meteorological observatory, which also has amazing views of the coastline. If you’re in to hiking, cycling or trek running there are coastal and mountain tracks. There are so many things to do when you stay at Cloud Tree Inn. Such a great place to stay, so quite good and peaceful, but only 10 min from the beach.
Thee hosts were great, very helpful about the the area and things to do.
Room was really nice with an amazing view of the mountains. Definitely stay here again,👍

Pretty cozy, clean and quiet place. Very helpful and hospitable owners. Wonderful view from balcony. Beautiful place for a silent retreat after busy city life ;)

They accept foreigners, no problems upon check-in. With our language barrier not speaking proper Chinese they tried their best to understand. Very low water pressure, shower with electric heater which we didn’t see directly, so my husband had to shower cold. No towels provided. Nice balcony and view from there.

It is very convenient for a family to stay. We booked a family room. It is clean and hygienic. The service is very considerate. The room has a light fragrance. The bedding is very comfortable. There is a book bar at the front desk and supporting facilities for children to play. The location is very good, very close to the beach. The mountain view is beautiful and the air is good. Recommended! I will come again next time.

A pleasant trip and stay. The boss is very handsome and has a happy pet dog. He personally took me to find the way to the beach. The beach is clean and there are few people. The boss originally booked an ordinary room on Ctrip, but the boss upgraded it to a room with a large terrace for free, which was quiet and comfortable.
