Go with little expectations, you won't be disappointed. We stayed overnight only. Somehow, the property lacks the freshness of a reputed hotel. The suite room( 505, fifth floor) didn't have the cosy factor. Extra bed was a floor mattress. Bathroom was compact with no hand shower. Restaurant ambience was poor and the spread was meagre. Car parking very limited. At 1 am we had an electric problem and, although it was said to be a " trip", I felt the reception could have handled the issue better. Among the staff, Ismail Tamboli looked courteous and helpful. Overall, an average stay.

I visit solapur 2-3 times in a year, every time i try to book in chitra. This time we had booked 2 rooms, we had a very unpleasant experience at hotel. Room were stinking for smoking & other foul smell, same with washrooms. Kettle for warm water was broken, food for dinner was good but breakfast was not up to mark. Service was average. Parking is always full, very limited place for parking.

Hotel location is perfect to roam around city and near to main highway. Rooms are good with good hospitality from hotel staff. Food is also a good quality.

The location of the hotel is good. The restaurant has diverse menu which is really good especially for the kids. The food was also delicious. The room was compact but it could accommodate 3 persons. The room was neat and clean. The staff was also polite and helpful. Overall my stay was good.

Property was good. Found on mmt. Two separate buildings. Fontdesk people were co operative. Rooms were clean. All facilities are there. Some are available on demand like comb, hereoil. Morning breakfast was average. Overall a good property to stay. Some what costly.

Its a decent budget property, decent room size , clean and hygienic. They dont have sufficient parking space, in that case car has to be park on road side, which you can not afford to do with your expensive car. Food is good. I have stayed twice and in both the occassion i found this to be ok.

Good room slightly small for 2+1 guests. Cleanliness can be improved. Friendly staff. Breakfast options were decent. Parking slightly tricky.

Hotel chitra was a pleasant stay for us. We stayed there for one night and two days. Hotel staff was very helpful and courteous and ensured the two senior citizens with us were taken care of. Hotel ambiance was good and food in their in-house restaurant “rise and dine” was excellent. We enjoyed dinner at their roof top restuarant, it was an amazing experience with good ambience and a big fish tank behind us (children’s would love that. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Hotel had their own tourist vehicles with set prices, which we used to travel to akkalkot and tuljapur. Hotel location could have been better. Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay there.
