Really pleasant stay. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were made to feel at home straight away. The room was large and comfortable with an absolutely stunning view. We had the full English for breakfast which was really nice. Would strongly recommend!

Don't know where to start really. Perhaps with the lovely warm and friendly greeting from Rebecca who showed us to our room no 1. We'll what a view. The room was large and so was the ensuing and very tastefully decorated. The two chairs positioned in the bay window were ideal to sit and watch the wildlife outside. Next morning was a continuation of joy as the best breakfast ever was served. This is definitely 💯 % the best B&B we have ever visited so no hesitation in recomending. We hope to return one day soon. Rebecca is a superb hostess. Very warm welcome including a pack of tourist info leaflets. Extremely comfortable bed and a very wide choice for breakfast, which was first rate. Convenient location about 2 miles north of Wem and 6 miles south of Whitchurch. A good base for exploring Shropshire. No hesitation in recommending The Moorhead.

Rebecca is the perfect host - warm, welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable about the local area. Made a great suggestion for where to eat each evening I was with her. The house is super and lovely gardens in which to wander, too. Super breakfast.

Throughout our recent visit, I found myself genuinely amazed by the outstanding hospitality extended by our host, Rebecca. From the moment we arrived until our departure, she exhibited a warm welcome, remarkable efficiency, and an unwavering commitment to making our stay exceptional. Her local knowledge was invaluable and she promptly addressed all our requests. Rebecca's pleasant nature and unwavering dedication to ensuring guest contentment truly enhanced our stay. The homemade breakfast was not only flawless but also delectable. I wholeheartedly recommend this charming bed and breakfast and would eagerly revisit should the opportunity arise.

A very last minute decision to stay near Whitchurch as seeing a band so accidentally found The Moorhead bed and breakfast. So pleased we did . Rebecca was so welcoming. The room was lovely - beautifully presented and spotlessly clean . The view was stunning!! Breakfast was fantastic- loads of choice and all delicious We will be back !

A delightful venue with lovely hosts and the comfiest bed in Shropshire! Secluded and surrounded by beautiful countryside a wonderful oasis in our mad world. In addition, the breakfasts are tasty with a variety of choices offered. A must visit venue.

The Moorhead has become our go to place to relax. Rebecca is so warm and welcoming. She takes meticulous care of every little detail. Comfy beds, great breakfasts and lovely peaceful surroundings. We love it here.
