We had a great stay. The hotel is older and a bit worn around the edges, but the staff are nice and the rooms are clean. Rooms are spacious. Only complaint is the thin walls and doors - you can hear everything people say in their rooms when you walk past, and when people walk past your room it sounds like they are in your room! If there were more people staying at the hotel it would not be as nice, so I’m not sure if we would stay again.

Had a great stay @ the La Quinta in Slidell! The staff were great, housekeeping was friendly and the rooms were very clean. Great rates and breakfast included.

The AC was not working. Also we were sent to the wrong room where someone was already there. Had an awakward situation.

We stayed here on our way to Tennessee. The desk clerk was very friendly with welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. It’s a small hotel great for a quick stay. Easy on and off the highway. The pet fee wasn’t ridiculously high and we felt safe when we took our fur babies out to take care of business. (Our papillon was like a little kid jumping from bed to bed - so she liked the room. Our Cavalier, he likes jumping in the shower to wash his paws, so the low tub was exciting to him.)

The whole place was old. You could tell this was purchased and slapped the la Quinta name on it. The bathroom is dirty with hairballs everywhere, including in the room itself. It was hard to tell if even the mattress and sheets for changed.

Best stay for the money ever. I've paid much more in other hotels and got much less. This was clean, well kept up. Staff was amazing and breakfast was tasty. Parking was good and safe. A+

The lady at the front desk was the most amazing person putting up with me! My wife’s phone glitched showing we had 4 people instead of 5. So they had initially put us in a one large king bed with a pull out couch. But instead of us canceling and going elsewhere. She got us another room next door so everyone could sleep comfortably. She was extremely patient and kind with us as we all tried to figure it out! She deserves a raise!
