The Lodge at Lancaster

We stayed overnight after having a family christening, we had pre booked food beforehand, which turned out to be fantastic. There was a real variety and was certainly value for money . The place was clean and tidy, as was the room . The staff were brilliant, very attentive, and couldn't do enough for us . They made a special day fantastic. We could not fault this place

Just been for Sunday lunch. Roast lamb for me with all the trimmings and vegetarian options for the wife. Great food and service in a lovely building will definitely be going again cauliflower cheese in breadcrumbs and deep fried were the best

I came and had tea with my family the other day and the food was amazing great staff all lovely and welcoming and the building is beautiful

Didn’t stay in the hotel, came for a meal for two, we travelled up for a day out locally, called for a late evening meal before the journey home and was not disappointed, it was busy and we enjoyed everything, didn’t wait to long we had starters, mains and deserts feeling fat haha. I had the hot haloumi starter and main beef stroganoff which was beautiful, full of flavour and worth the price, my partner had the mussels starter and lasagne main, everything looked really nicely plated and full of flavour. The deserts where obviously home made and gorgeously presented, I had a Manchester tart and the Mrs had a lemon cheesecake thing and they was both deffo made by hand and topped off a cracking meal.. Also I could not fault the Service from the waitresses, would 100 percent recommend and will be returning! Last time we came up these ways we went to the cross keys over the road and had a bad experience and decided to try here for a change and didn’t regret it at all. Had a look at the Sunday menu to for future reference and wish we was up for that, the Sunday dinners and sides look brilliant with a good choice and value, are new favourite place in the Lancaster area and will be are go to place when we come this way!

Had a lovely stay at Slyne Lodge the room was lovely, spacious and an amazing sized bed we had one of the deluxe rooms, the staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food is absolutely amazing will definitely be visiting again very soon.The views from the hotel are breathtaking

Eaten here regularly over these past few weeks, the plates are always spotlessly clean and the pizzas are made well. As well as the plates, The cutlery is also well polished, all the staff are friendly as are the owners, 10/10 would recommend!

The resuraunt is excellent. Best good I’ve had in any establishment for a long time. The staff were all lovely. Made us feel ver special despite being very busy with 2 large bookings. Will definitely be back on a regular basis. Prices very reasonable as well.

Booked all hotel rooms for the weekend for our annual family gathering. We were looked after very well by Laura,Ryan and team who kept us fed and watered the whole weekend. Already booked in for next year. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.
