Kenai River Lodge Reviews

Rooms could use updating. Were clean but floors were uneven, doors did not all shut as they should, carpet was old and very worn. Shower showed signs of mold. Furniture was pretty beat up. Windows could be replaced with thicker glass given you are on the main highway.

Wonderful place to stay, right by the river. I read some unflattering reviews but we had a great stay. While the lodge is older, our room was large, clean and nicely decorated. Had mini fridge, microwave, and small coffee pot. There is also a lounge where you can sit by the water and unwind. Soldotna has everything you need while in vacation. This was our first time in Alaska, and we were hoping to find a spot we could come back to. The Kenai River Lodge will be our place.

This hotel has it all, great location, private access to the Kenai, lounge overlooking the river! The rooms are not 5 star, but they are just perfect. We wanted for nothing. Loved having a laundry room and a fish freezer. Staff is super friendly and we will be going back!

What we loved best was the river view, and we enjoyed the easy walk to it. The room isn’t air conditioned, so you need to leave the window open and you can hear the cars from the main road all the time. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean.
