Solomons Victorian Inn

My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at Solomons Victorian Inn! We stayed in the Harbour Sunset. The room was very nice and had an amazing view of the harbour and the sunset - hints the name!! The owners Steve and Shawn were very sweet and gave us tons of ideas of things to do in the area and many restaurant options which were all great, and within walking distance! Breakfast each morning was delicious! Shawn's cookies were a special treat each day!! Thanks Steve and Shawn for making our anniversary special - I'm sure we will return soon!! Patricia & Wyndel

This was our second visit to Solomons Victorian Inn and it was even more beautiful and relaxing than the first time. Steve and Shawn are outstanding hosts and the view from our Islandscape room was incredible and restful especially after a day spent hiking at Calvert Cliffs. We have already booked a third visit!

Total relaxation with every detail taken care of. First the husband/wife innkeepers Shawn and Steve were amazing and cared so much that we had a wonderful stay. We had my elderly parents w us in their ground floor room called the "Islandscape"and we had one of the main house "Narada" room. The view and location were fantastic. The breakfasts were special 3 course including fresh fruit and something sweet and savory. The baked goods every day by Shawn showed her love and talent for baking--even a goodie bag at our departure. If I lived closer, I would come more often! There's a game room, binoculars, hot chocolate w mini marshmallows, beautiful sitting areas to enjoy the view throughout the property including the front porch where we hung out after dinner. The restaurant right across the street about a stone's throw away at Charles Street served tapas and seafood w live jazz in a Sat night. We also tried Bugeye Grill another night and they were fantastic too. Never really had to get back in the car as you can walk just a few blocks up to the main part of town w a few shops and restaurants. Right next door is an outdoor salty tiki bar that looks fun when it warms up more. I could go on and on. Oh, and Calvert Cliffs park is only 10 min away by car where you can find shark teeth and fossils, which we did! Soo much better than a hotel or airbnb!

Excellent bed and breakfast with the greatest hosts! Steve and his wife Shawn are such a wonderful and kind couple. They made us feel right at home immediately and baked us so many treats! They even had cupcakes for my birthday! The location was in walking distance to restaurants, bars, ice cream, and marinas. The Inn was very clean and charming. We looked forward to breakfast on the enclosed porch each morning with the best views of the harbor and marina! What a great little spot to get away and relax!

The Victorian Inn at Solomon’s Island is a beautiful property with gracious, friendly hosts- Steve and Shawn. I stayed 2 nights in the Manitou room -very pretty!- and enjoyed the delicious breakfast served in the bright sun room. Special cookies, scones and coffee cakes baked by Shawn were such a treat! You can easily walk to most restaurants in town (I highly recommend Charles St. Brasserie. ) I look forward to a return visit, and have already recommended the Inn to my neighbors. Thanks for a lovely weekend!

Beautiful place with great customer service. Very caring and very sure to make each day stress free. From breakfast to the cookie treats to the chocolates, we were very well taken care of! Treated like family the entire stay! Bed was very comfortable as well!

Stayed at Solomon’s Victorian Inn at the last minute and it was fabulous! We were so well cared for, we can’t wait to come back. It’s perfectly located, the room was gorgeous, and our breakfasts were tasty and thoughtful. The owners go to great lengths to make your stay comfortable and memorable, with so many little conveniences that others don’t have like night lights. And the cookies and always available coffee, and other goodies!!!

Steve and Shawn are fantastic Innkeepers. Shawn make the best breakfast and what a variety. They are very responsive the the needs of their guests. The location is absolutely great. It is in a peaceful part of the island but in walking distance to all the major restaurants. The rooms are very charming. Like living in a Victorian house but with all the modern amenities. We were there for two weeks and Steve and Shawn made us feel like family. While parking on the island can be a challenge, Victorian Inn has dedicated parking for all guests. Highly recommend Victorian Inn for a restful getaway.

The location of this place couldn't have been any better! With local restaurants and shopping within walking distance (less than 1 mile) and beautiful sunsets on the water right out the window (or the front door) everything was so very picturesque! The B&B hosts were a sweet couple who make a-rockin' 3-course breakfast that kept us full and happy. Our room was comfortable and cool in the dead of Summer and the bathroom has all of the little essentials we needed. We even enjoyed playing some Yahtzee and checking out all the board games available to us during our stay. When we arrived they had a plate of cookies waiting for us and when we left they were nice enough to send us home with some yummy cookies for the road. We absolutely cannot wait for our next stay. The home is stunning and is very clean mixing quaint old architecture and decor with modern comforts. Thank you for making our Solomons stay an amazing adventure!!
