The host is very nice and hospitable, and the room is very big. You can choose your own breakfast in the hotel and the boss can make it first. The Omlet made by the proprietress and the oatmeal baked by herself are very, very delicious.

We stopped over here on arrival in SA to visit family in the area before travelling on to a wedding. Our stay was only brief - but Somerset View GH was the perfect fit to clean and up and recover from the flight whilst catching up with family nearby. Emsie was a wonderfull host and made us feel very welcome. Thank you!

Amazing hosts, worth the money and experience, bedrooms are spacious and equipped with everything. The food was too good. This is the place to be for sure highly recommend!! Includes breakfast and supper , Wi-Fi. Dstv and Netflix all inclusive. Pool as well.

Having visited more than 20 guesthouses in Western Cape this is definitely one of the best. It’s fresh, tidy and clean. The rooms are in perfect condition as well as the garden, pool and parking. The breakfast is professionally cooked and the coffee as awesome.

What a stunning place, ample parking, clean areaa, big showers stocked fridge and the view.... I was received witf a smile and warm chat even though I was late, nothing was ever a problem. Thank you. I will definitely see you again.

Great place with cute rooms. Rooms are serviced every day except Sundays. Make sure to book rooms with beach view. Emsie makes the most tasty homely food. Close to Strand beach and Gordons Bay and Vergelehen wine farm

Spent one night at Somerset View Guest house. I had to pick up my dad from the local hospital and they were kind enough to accommodate us on short notice. They even offered and arranged for a delicious dinner that was not planned. All the facilities were very good and service excellent. I was really impressed and would recommend it.

It was a very nice time in thr Somerswt View Guest House. Located close to the Airport and Cape Town, as well as Stellenbosch. Very nice rooms and the breakfast is just delicious! Hope to be back soon.

I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent at Somerset View Guest House. The rooms were spacious and clean at all times. Immaculate views of Strand with beautiful sunsets. Breakfast was delicious with very friendly conversation which made us feel at home and comfortable. Will be back again soon.
