Hotel Marhaba Club Reviews

This is the easyJet of hotels. It sucks you in with a seemingly good deal, then takes off every conceivable extra to make up for it. Loads of little annoyances: - zero information in the room or check in about breakfast/dinner times, wifi etc - although the deal says "half board" this does not cover any drink at all, not even water. The waiters came up to me and took water away on several occasions. No water in room, no kettle. They even "accidentally" took a bottle of water I'd bought elsewhere. Pushing for you to buy the all-you-can-drink deal instead. - perhaps related: there were loud and violent fights in the corridors all 3 nights I was there. One night glass in the corridor from a domestic altercation, one night screaming children, one night a guy attacked a girl. I know because the corridors are so echoey that you could hear a mouse fart outside your room. - Nothing in the room. No do not disturb sign, no bag for the laundry, no fridge, no kettle, no hairdryer, AC didn't work. Cleaners came in on day 2, took my pillowcases and bath mat, opened the door to my balcony, and left. Meanwhile there were ***** on the floor. -Staff were unmotivated and patronising. I told reception that the phone in my room was broken and she just looked at me like "and?". I lost an item and staff couldn't even be bothered to look for it in their office. Every time I asked a simple question I got treated like I was clueless and naive, when I'm an experienced solo traveller of over a decade. Pros: the rooms are giant, the pool is nice and the buffet is pretty good. But all the little irritations caused a death of a thousand paper cuts and I was relieved to leave.

This hotel was so amazing close to all the needed facilities, very safe. The rooms were so nice. All the staff without exception were so nice especially Ms Anissa in the reception who was above and beyond nice. The security is very guaranteed.

I'm don't often leave a review on here but as I read as many bad reviews as good before my holiday, which worried me before heading out there, I thought I'd share my experience. We arrived at 10am and check in isn't until 2pm. As we had our 2-year old son with us, the lady pon reception said she'd try sort us a room ASAP. We headed to the pool and by 1130pm someone come to find us to tell us they had a room ready for us. We were in room 1039 which is on the same level as reception and the restaurant but a level above the pool. We we're just a few metres from the pool so a super good location if you need to nip back to the room, and a great view of the pool and the sea in the distance. The rooms aren't huge. When we got into ours there were two beds and they said they'd get another bed and a cot into the room and at first I thought it was going to be a super tight squeeze, but they brought the beds along, rearranged the furniture and it was spacious enough to not feel crammed in. I did find out from others that if you have a quadruple room they squeeze four beds in which would be a bit crammed, but if like us you only spend an hour or two in the room each day it wouldn't be much of an issue anyway. All the rooms here are exactly the same size so you really don't have another option! Yes, there is some renovation work going on just behind the pool bar but not once did I hear any noise coming from there even though they're working on it daily. While we were there they moved back the hoarding as the area of paving to each side of the pool bar was finished, and from what I could see there is only a small area left to complete. Yes, there are two blocks of boarded up rooms behind the pool, however they have painted the boarding in the same colour as the walls so you don't really notice it and it's not like it's an eyesore. The whole complex is lovely. The gardens, the tall palm trees everywhere. The recent refurbished pool area (only opened up a few weeks ago) is fantastic. We were there in the half term and you get the usual numpties putting towels on their sunbeds at 7/8am but the vast majority of people were a bit more respectful and just waited til they got down there. We found that as long as you were by the pool by 9/10am there were always sunbeds available, and if you're not heading to the pool until after lunch a few more became available. The lifeguards are super helpful and happy to move sunbeds and parasols to wherever you need them, for example, if you need to be by the kids pool. In the grounds of Marhaba Club there is a big main pool with a swim-up bar and a 0.25m kids pool. There is also a waterpark with a splash pool and 3 water slides that is open daily from 10-12 and 3-5pm. The hotel shares the grounds with it's sister hotel, Occidental Marhaba, which also has a big lagoon-style pool and a 0.4m kids pool. You can't get drinks from their bar during the day, but it's literally a one minute walk back to the hotel reception to pick u

We are really pleased and happy to stay in the hotel. The hotel staff and entertainment staff are brilliant , helpful,friendly and working really hard to make our holiday special. The food is amazing and always plenty of choices. The room’s are clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend it. My 5 years old enjoyed it too .

Just got back yesterday from Marhaba Club. We are a family of 5. Had the most amazing holiday. The animation team were fantastic. The energy they bring is phenomenal. They are so friendly. All staff were welcoming, patient and kind. Nothing was too much for them if we had a problem, it would be addressed with a smile. The small walk to the beach was lovely needed to loss a few ounces from eating too much food. The food was nice and plenty of options for the fussy eater. The omelets were so tasty and made in front of you. The waiters worked tirelessly and kept smiling. They never stopped and were so polite. My 7 night stay went so quickly, I wished I had stayed longer. Yes I do agree that some of the areas need updating, especially the bathrooms, but saying this, it did not stop us having one of the best holiday ever. Thank you Marhaba Club for welcoming me and my family.

I like this hotel specially team entertainment 😃 They were amazing and l loved all the stuff 🫡working there because everyday when l was going to swimming pool l found all the activities that provided team entertainment And l liked also my room 🧼 Because the room was clean and comfortable And the food was amazing also food 🍱 And the Quality of this hotel was amazing I recommend all the people coming here for holiday Thank for everything all the staff

The experience in marhaba hotel was very good and our family enjoyed the holiday The service was also very good addition to the food was good and the service bar was amazing and it’s provided drinks everyday for all customers and the room is clean because evey day l see women clean my room that’s really amazing to be honest l liked team entertainment provided good shows every night

A very lovely hotel with great entertainment and facilities. The food and rooms were quite good, the hotel is located on the other side of hotel so roughly a 5 minute walk was great. The evening shows were a great way to keep us entertained in the evening

Just got back from a 9 nights trip. 1st time in tunisia with my partner and young child, we didn't know what to expect with some of the reviews. In my honest opinion, yes there is a bit of renovation work going on. BUT it really doesn't affect any part of the holiday as bad as people say. The staff were so friendly they felt like family. From the first moment we walked in to the last day we waited for our transfer, they were laughing and joking along with everyone. TOP APPLAUSE to a few inparticular which is HAMZA, the waiter in the lobby bar. Made me an amazing cocktail every night. RIADH, the pool bar waiter. He is an absolute credit to the hotel! So friendly and polite and never let's your cup go empty, always there walking round asking if you want a refill. And lastly, LILOU! not to take anything away from the animation team, as each and everyone of them gives everything to make sure you enjoy your time there. But LILOU was outstanding, my daughter is a very shy girl, but LILOU managed to get her to join in and have fun with everyone. That man is in the right job! He is an absolute star for the animation team 🌟 we all look forward to visiting our friends at the hotel again soon!
