I can't overstate how pleasant our stay at Microtel Inn & Suites Carlisle. Staff was beyond friendly, helpful with finding things to do/transportation when we couldn't find an Uber. The room was extremely clean, we could tell it had been cleaned just before we got there.
For the price (and even for some hotels that are more expensive), you couldn't do better in the Carlisle/Mechanicsburg area.

I'm so glad we stumbled on this great hotel on our way from DC to WNY. Very clean & welcoming, large & comfortable rooms, organized & healthy breakfast - everything you want for a hotel stay!! I highly recommend Microtel if you're staying anywhere near Harrisburg.

The a/c is noisy. Wakes me up at night when it comes on. Breakfast were good. Although scramble eggs and sausage are quite salty. Overall, a lot to choose. Bed is comfortable. Receptionist last evening is quite nice.

Best hotel breakfast options I have ever had, fresh fruit, chicken gravy and biscuits, pepper relish and more. Bathrooms were clean and had hygiene products available. Small over night essentials given at check in. Very nice hotel.

Spacious room with couch and large desk. Bathroom also is large. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Numerous choices for breakfast. Lobby is cozy and inviting. Good location.
