My husband and I needed lodging in the Wellington area and we found The Old Dairy at Bishops Barton. We were so happy that we did. Liz was an amazing host, our accommodations were so comfortable and clean and large! The grounds and gardens were amazing. Breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend it for a stay in beautiful Sumerset.

Beautiful setting with thoughtful touches like an honesty box for midnight chocolate munchies and mini bar with proceeds going to charity. Very comfortable and a lovely warm welcome. If you are travelling anywhere and intending to drink, though, do try and locate a taxi first. They are few and far between in the locality.

Beautiful accommodation - I stayed in the 4 poster room with the roll top bath. The bed was so comfortable - I am ultra fussy - it was heavenly. The room was clean, spacious, cosy, homely and had exposed brick work and beams. Liz, the owner, could not have looked after me any better. She brought me supper late in the evening as I arrived really late, and brought me breakfast the next morning. I arrived only with a handbag and Liz brought me essential toiletries, which I so appreciated. There was an honesty box and bar downstairs that I didn't use but there was a selection of alcohol, crisps and chocolate. Liz also arranged a taxi for me the night I arrived and helped me out with transport the next day. I would have no hesitancy about returning or recommending others to stay here. The personal touches way exceeded my expectations. On the whole, it was a wonderful experience and made even better by Liz's kindness and thoughtfulness.

Went for a two night break. The accommodation was lovely with stunning views. The room itself was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a cooked breakfast both mornings and they were delicious and set us up for the day. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Needless to say, we will revisit 😁👍

Had a wonderful one night's stay. Cleanliness good, rooms with a view and when you go outside into the well kept garden the view is fabulous over the countryside. A delicious full English for breakfast. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful luxury stay with plenty of walks and local pubs around.

Our host, Liz was lovely and couldn't do enough for us during our one night stay before travelling on to Cornwall. She was lovely with our little one and provided toys for her and her own children's place setting at breakfast. We found the room to be very very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and the honesty bar was a lovely touch. We would definitely stay again.
