The rooms were comfortable. The place is really beautiful. Stones throw away from the beautiful restaurants of Stellenbosch. There was backup power for lighting. The staff were really pleasant and helpful. We loved it. Definitely will return

Great location for a stay in Stellenbosch! Convenient base for exploring and central for all restaurants, bars and shops. Very clean, simple well cooked breakfast A special mention for Angie, the front of house person. Nothing was too much trouble, incredibly helpful and accomodating, helpful when one of us was unwell and needed to attend a local clinic. Definitely would recommend!

Just Joey was the perfect overnight stay in Stellenbosh. The service was friendly, the room was beautiful and clean and the breakfast looked amazing - unfortunately we couldn't stay to enjoy it. Close to central Stellenbosch but far away enough to be peaceful and quiet.

A wonderful mini-hotel for a reasonable fee. Excellent location, close to the city center, comfortable rooms, wonderful breakfast. It took a long time to choose, but we were completely satisfied with the choice.We will be happy to return to this hotel.

Great place to stay! The rooms are good and clean. The breakfast is so good! And Angie is the best person to welcome you at Stellenbosch and she makes you feel at home! The location is incredible and it is walking distance from the best restaurants. The best option so you can drink and go back safely!

For a couple of days in Stellenbosh Just Joey was the perfect place to stay with a spacious room, nice bathroom and good breakfast with the fresh made cup of coffee. In the honesty bar there were cold drinks that easily could be taken to the poolside along with a good book. A very short walk to the town center with cafes and restaurants, madeJust Joeys the perfect place to stay. Thanks to Angelika the owner, for good advice and service on bookings for wine tasting on a short notice.

I really appreciated staying at Just Joe Lodge, which is both very well located and peaceful. Thanks to the host, Angie, you feel immediately welcome. I enjoyed the tips given for using at best my time, and the introduction of a guide to hike in Stellenbosch outdorrs.I will definitely return to Just Joe Lodge!

Just a short walk away from a number of excellent restaurants, City Hall, Botanical gardens etc. Beautiful garden and friendly service. The cooked breakfast, spotty wi-fi and DSTV (peak hours not a lot of choices) could be better but Francois (patron at the weekend), the location and the honesty bar more than makes up for it.
