Totally disappointed , I choose this hotel as it has 3 stars but there are spiders in the rooms even they do not clean my room for 3 days . There is no dust bin inside the room even there is hot water not comes from the taps . At last I just wanna say people pls go for good hotel which gives you value for your money

Went here for Sunday lunch. Carvery excellent well cooked and plenty even asked by staff if wanted seconds. Dessert excellent very well priced staff attentive without being overbearing. Will definitely be back and will bring friends!!!

From when we arrived we were directed to the hotel car park and signed car in at reception. Friendly welcome from front of house free up graded room. A double bedroom 2x double beds WiFi tv an amazing walk in power shower.Room was clean spacey and the bed was comffy. Breakfast was good tasty. I'd recommend anyone to stay here if your looking for a short stay without the added 5 star luxury you get a historic period building.

We stayed here for a night last week. The Talbot is in the centre of town close to the station and all the shops/ restaurants. Check in was slow but the member of staff was very polite. Our room was accessed via the car park and as such had no window- it was blocked off, presumably to stop people looking in. It was extremely small and facilities were limited- the biggest issue, no tea/ coffee or kettle in the room. No cair either, just a small stall for 1 person to sit at the desk. Storage was lacking and the ensuite, whilst functional, was also extremely cramped. The pub itself was very pleasant with nice staff and a reasonably priced drink & food menu. I'd be happy to come back for a drink, but wouldn't stay here again.

Booked for our wedding reception. Function room was amazing, and staff could not have been more helpful. On our first night, the room was basic, but incredibly comfortable: the hotel upgraded us to the historic bridal suite for our second night. Food was provided by TASTE: a Stourbridge favourite located on site. All guests, including my wife, who is from Thailand, commented on the excellent quality of the Asian fusion food that was provided. Thank you to the Talbot for making our day extra special. Would highly recommend for any events in the area.

Visited Stourbridge today. Found the Talbot Hotel first time we had been in. Ordered two drinks and a lunch time meal. We had chicken tikka sandwich and two portion of chips. It was well presented and delious. A very clean and well decorated restaurant. Jodie who served us was very helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend everyone to check the Talbot Hotel out.

Just popped in for a coffee - bit of nostalgia where fond memories of a few years back. Have got to say couldn’t have made to feel more welcome by the staff who were more than happy to show us around. Refurb looks really well done on what we saw and has managed to update while keeping the charm of the original old features of the building. Thai food offering in the evenings looks very interesting and will definitely be giving that a try. Wish the team here every success for investing in this historic Stourbridge building

Visited here for Sunday lunch on Easter Sunday!! Wow…one of the best Sunday lunches around, with tender slow cooked meat, tasty vegetable selection, beautiful acoustic music and a service with a smile! Nothing was to much for the staff! Will definetly be back ❤️
